Hey everyone! I'm Buddy and I'm a 3-year-old, 50-pound black mouth cur mix who is ready to tap dance my way into your life!
While I wait for my forever family to come knocking, I took no time at all to make myself right at home with my foster family. A man that enjoys life's simple pleasures, I love to spend my days chilling in my favorite dog bed surrounded by a pile of plush toys! I’ve been I have the most endearing way about me so I hope you consider opening your heart and home to me! I'm house-trained, crate-trained and ready to please!
I'm currently living with my foster parents and their two fur siblings. I'm the kind of pup that is super chill with new furry friends and I'm so happy they have welcomed me in their home. I’m respectful when my fur siblings wants their space and even though I don't live with cats, I think I could do well with the given my laid-back nature. When I'm not napping, you can find me stealing toys and piling them up around my bed. It makes my foster parents laugh every time I do it!
When it comes to food, I like all sorts of treats and my foster parents have no issue taking toys or treats away. I'm sure I'd love to roam free in a fenced-in yard, though it's not a requirement for me. As long as I have a place to play fetch, I'll be one happy guy! I know my name and am pretty good about coming when I'm called.
Up for a road trip? Though I currently need help getting the car, I settle well and look forward to joining you anywhere you'd like to go! With more practice I think I'll get the hang of it. Once the weather warms up, I’d be thrilled to join you at a dog-friendly patio or any other pup-friendly place. I'm good on my leash, though I can be a bit stubborn on occasion. When I get excited, I do the cutest tap dance and can't wait to show it to you.
At the end of the day, I like to unwind in my “superman” pose and then it’s off to bed. I enjoy a nice evening snuggle and then sleep quietly through the night in my crate. While I'm not a huge fan of going into my crate currently, I am calm and relaxed when in there and do excellent while my parents leave the house. Over time, I feel I'd be able to be given free roam of the house.
What am I looking for in my new home? Glad you asked! I think I'd do great in a home with adults or kids of any age. I’m a pretty chill dude who is just happy to be part of your life. I will need some time to get used to the new routine, so I appreciate your patience while I adjust. If you have a fur babies of your own, I look forward to meeting them along with the rest of your family!
