Since her arrival, she has completely stolen the hearts of staff and volunteers alike with her gentle soul, calm nature, and wonderfully well-rounded manners. Kaylee walks on her leash like an absolute lady—graceful, confident, and just a touch sassy with every step. Her calm, cool demeanor makes her a fantastic family dog, especially for those looking for a companion who brings peace and warmth into the home. She loves spending time in the yard soaking up sunshine and fresh air, and she’s happiest when she’s close to her people. Bonus: her kisses are truly top tier. While Kaylee Ann enjoys companionship, she’s also content entertaining herself when needed, making her a great match for households with busy days but loving evenings. She would thrive in a calmer home where she can relax with her favorite humans, though she’s always up for the occasional new adventure. Kaylee is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. Meet Dixie, our 10-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix. A senior girl who loves to just be anywhere you are. Quiet and calm she has found herself in our care not once, not twice, but three times. But these were not her fault. First, she was owner surrendered due to her family not being able to afford having a dog anymore. The second time she was picked up by animal control and when her family was contacted, they did not want her back. And the third, well she isn`t a big fan of those things that hiss (aka cats) and they are not a fan of her. She has spent her life back and forth from the shelter and deserves so much more than that. Dixie is looking for a home where she can live out the last part of her life in comfort and love. She is great with all kinds of dogs, and very people friendly. Per her previous owners she is also potty trained. Are you looking for a senior dog to lounge by your side? Dixie is the one for you! Come meet her anytime during our operation hours.
