Meet Ember! At just 20 weeks old and weighing 14 lbs, Ember is a bright, playful, and loving little girl looking for her forever family through Seventh Heaven Rescue. She is up to date on all vaccines and preventions, so she’s ready to join you on life’s adventures! Ember is smart, curious, and full of puppy energy. She loves her treats, toys, and especially exploring the outdoors — she’ll happily climb over just about anything to check out the world around her! Don’t let her adventurous side fool you, though — Ember also has a cuddly, affectionate nature and will happily snuggle up when playtime is over. She is currently working on crate training and leash training and will do best with a family ready to continue helping her learn and grow. One thing Ember isn’t a fan of? Water — she’d much rather keep her paws dry!  Ember’s story began in Oakdale, where she and her mama, Bonnie, were found abandoned in a house before being rescued. Despite her rough start, Ember has blossomed into a joyful pup with nothing but love to give.  Could this sweet and spunky girl be the spark your family has been waiting for? Meet Victor, Fairy Dust’s brother. This boy is a 7 month old big boy! He is tall and very lanky at 31 lbs. Victor has legs for days. This baby is growing tall so fast that it is a little difficult to keep him at a good weight.  Victor eats like a horse and is very food motivated.  It is best to feed Victor separate from everyone else or put them far apart and stay right there with them. As he will leave his food bowl and try to go eat his sisters, even though he still has food . He can be a bit of a stinker when food is involved and his sister is around.  Away from food, he is a big cuddle bug that loves to lay in your lap and get all the cuddles he can. Victor does occasionally like to play a game of fetch! He is still a puppy so he does need patience, a little work and lots of love.  As you can see Victor does walk well on a leash.  Victor was pulled in August from Vernon Parish animal shelter’s euthanasia list.  If you would like to have Victor join you family fill out an adoption application.  His $500 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption, neuter, microchip, foster care and transportation to NY. ##2559080##

    Meet Gunner! At 13.2 lbs, Gunner is a sweet, loving boy who’s ready to find his forever family through Seventh Heaven Rescue. He is up to date on all vaccines and preventions, making him all set to start his next adventure!  His birthday is estimated to be April 22, 2025. Gunner has a gentle, affectionate nature — he loves cuddles and soaks up attention from his people. Though he can be a little shy at times, he quickly warms up and shows his playful side, especially when he’s outside with toys or hanging with the big dogs (he loves being part of the action!). This sweet boy is currently working on crate and leash training and will thrive with a family ready to continue his puppy learning journey.
