Hey all you fabulous people out there, let me introduce myself. I'm ScrappyDoo and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I am super sweet, but still a little nervous around people, so I will need a little extra time to adjust to a new home. Some of my favorite things to do is take naps and wrestle with my brother Scooby Doo. I love to snuggle on the couch and watch TV, but will also plead with my big, brown puppy dog eyes for some scratches. I am your typical silly pup and know that I will make a great best friend! I'm about 5 months old and come in at around 20lbs. I should be a great size (40-50lbs)when I get myself all the way growed up. I'm gonna be that perfectly pawsome size for ALL adventures, from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting! I am a loving lil fella that loves his people both tall and small but do remember I still have those sharp lil teeth and nails. I has got a beautiful coat and such an expressive face you'll have a hard time telling me 'no' even when getting into puppy shenanigans!! I has got a sweet nature that does love to run around and play with all the other foster pups here. I do really well playing with the other pups but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, but at my young age and with proper introductions I should be fine with them too! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness and be that lil heartbeat at your feet. ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED!! Darling MAYBELLE loves sweater weather! Isn't she adorable? Maybelle is a fan favorite amongst our volunteers and we are eager to find an adopter who recognizes that she's an absolute gem. This shorthaired mixed breed beauty is the color of a perfectly blended vanilla latte. She was originally aged at 4 years old but we think she's actually a bit younger, probably 2 or 3. Maybelle is fully grown at just 33 pounds. She's a playful girl, the perfect mix of intelligence, affection and athleticism. Maybelle is a perfect lifestyle dog. She loves to go hiking, running and playing fetch in the yard. She's so happy to go for rides in the car, especially with a pit stop for a pup cup. She loves loves loves her toys and will happily entertain herself when her people are busy. She does enjoy "liberating" all toy squeakers. Maybelle bonds closely to her people and loves with her whole heart. Did we mention she's whip smart? She knows Sit, Down and Shake and loves to learn new tricks.   Maybelle is best suited to a home where she will be an only dog. She enjoys the companionship of well-balanced dogs in social situations but she's such a love sponge we think she would be happiest as your one and only very best girl at home. You can meet Maybelle at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Elena is a black mouth cur/shepherd mix, and 50-55 lbs. She is extremely loyal and loves getting cuddles from her people. She likes to nose butt your arm for attention, and absolutely loves squeaky toys. She also will just stare at you with her gorgeous, soft eyes, and will you to scratch or kiss her :) She is house trained, crate trained, and good with other animals/children. Her foster has 6 dogs and 1 cat that she gets along with really well; however, it is worth mentioning that she can get territorial in a new environment with other dogs, so it would be best for her to go to an experienced dog home, or as an only dog. Honestly, she can be with other dogs as long as you are the boss and she knows it :) Elena knows how to sit;wait to eat her food until she is told to &"go ahead "She loves kids, and does well with even the littlest ones hugging on her. One of her favorite hobbies is to watch the squirrels in the backyard. She will sit and watch them for hours, if allowed to! Elena is such a good dog, and is ready for her furever home.
