Story
We adopted Archie when he was about 8 weeks old from a rescue— he and his litter were rescued from a hoarding situation in a rural part of the state. Up until age 2 he was a completely normal, friendly dog who played well and got a lot with everyone and animals. At full-sized, he began to get aggressive with other male dogs and bark at any person he was not familiar with, all while being perfectly loving to us his family and our other dog. He has an anxious personality that coupled with his size, we are unable to spend the time and money he needs to be safe with other dogs. He has occasionally gotten so loud and aggressive that we fear what he may do to a person (if released) that he is unfamiliar with. He remains super sweet and obedient when alone (not stressed) and just needs a home where he is the only animal and owner is strong enough to control him + has time to work with him for his behavior. It breaks our hearts to even write this. We just want a loving home for him.

Story
We rescued Archie from puppy haven in Tulsa Ok about 3 years ago. He has been a great dog. Although originally advertised as a medium/large dog he turned out to be x-large weighing in around 110lbs lol! Archie gets along with our other dog Ari so well, they are best friends. However, around the age of 2 Archie did develop anxiety toward other dogs and at times has been aggressive toward them. My wife accepted a residency job in Florida meaning we have to relocate. Based on that situation we feel it is best to rehome Archie as opposed to bringing him across the country with us.

This handsome dude is Waylon. Waylon is a Black Mouth Cur and German Shepherd mix. He was born around the first week of January. Waylon is one of the most outgoing pups of his siblings. He loves attention and belly rubs and will follow you around looking for it. If you are looking for a large, gorgeous boy to add to your family, then most definitely consider Waylon!
