We are looking for an experienced, child-free home for our 6-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix. This is a responsible, planned decision, and we are committed to finding the right home; not just any home. He is: Neutered House-trained Healthy and up to date Loyal, affectionate, and very attached to his people Well-mannered inside the home He does best in a calm environment with adults or older teens. He has a history of stress and reactivity around young children, so he needs a home without kids. This is the only reason we are rehoming, we have infant twins arriving soon, and it would be unsafe and unfair to put him in a situation he struggles with. He thrives when: He has a fenced yard His people are confident, patient, and dog-savvy He has structure and time to warm up to new people The home is predictable and low-chaos He will make a wonderful companion for someone who understands protective breeds and wants a loyal, loving dog.

Story
Stella was adopted from the Yukon shelter back in 2023, and has been such a great dog. Unfortunately I work 10-12 hours and have a partner who moved in with me with cats, and Stella is reactive to other animals, so it had been difficult to navigate. Stella is 6 1/2 years old, 60 lbs, potty trained, hardly every chews anything, gentle, loving, and very easy going. She is reactive and has anxiety, but does really well when redirected on walks and hardly ever barks. She is very sweet and gentle, and loves to play but not too hard. She loves to go on walks, chew her bone, and be near her owner. Stella needs a home with a backyard and someone who has time to be with her more and give her a good life with space and loving owners. She is the best dog and will be an amazing companion to her new owner. We have about 3 months before we move, and would like to find her a new home before then. This lovable wrinkled hound is Rosco! Rosco is an approximately 1-year old male Bloodhound who will weigh 80-100 lbs. when he has gained some much-needed weight. He was rescued from a neglectful situation. We will let Rosco tell you all about himself and the home he needs! Hi everyone! I'm Rosco, and I'm a lovable ball of wrinkles! I enjoy a lot these days, now that I'm getting regular meals and time with kind people who only want the best for me. Here are some of my favorite things: Walks ~ they are amazing! Being outside ~ one of my most favorite things! I love it when my humans are out with me especially. Playing with other dogs ~ yep love it! I would love a home with another big playful dog like me. Did I mention that I LOVE playing and other dogs! Showing the humans how smart I am ~ I have mastered "sit" and "lay down". I would love a home where I'm included in activities and shown lots of love and attention. I require a very securely fenced yard, as I LOVE to investigate all the sounds and smells of outdoors. Please remember that I am just a big puppy, so I still want to chew on some things, but I'm learning that "shoes" are probably one of those things that I shouldn't chew on. Oops! And, I will be a BIG boy, so be prepared for a big, lovable, pile of wrinkles and unadulterated joy. I am crate, house and leash trained. This stunning girl is Ellie! Ellie is an approximately 3.5-year-old female Redbone Coonhound who weighs around 45 lbs. She was rescued from a local shelter. If you're looking for a new best friend who will stick by you through all your adventures, look no further than Ellie! This loving and athletic female dog is affectionate and curious, and always eager to learn more about the world around her. Although we don't know if she's good with other dogs, she is a friendly and playful pup who would love to go on walks, hikes, and runs with you. With a heart as big as her love for cuddles, Ellie is sure to bring joy and laughter to any home. Ellie is a mature dog, so we are looking for a family who is prepared to take on the responsibility of adopting a dog. If you're ready to open your heart and your home to this special girl, please get in touch with us today! She's waiting for you. Ellie, in true hound fashion, loves singing the song of her people (but not exceedingly), so she would not do well in an apartment setting. Needs a very secure stockade (wood) fence for her to play in! She has been fine with the children that she has met at outreaches. We don't know if Ellie is house-trained as she is in a boarding situation. She is in a run at night and may need some continued assistance with leash-training. We recommend a harness. Since Ellie is currently in a boarding situation, she qualifies as a foster-to-adopt or a foster. Ellie is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, current on HW preventive and microchipped.
