Story
Not a Supermodel, But a Total MVP Let’s just say it: Oshi isn’t winning any beauty pageants. She’s got a face that makes you do a double take and ears that definitely didn’t turn out the way someone planned. (An inexperienced human tried to crop them before she was rescued — not her fault, and honestly, we think it adds character.) But here’s the thing… Oshi is bright, athletic, and a full-on people pleaser. She LOVES water. She loves outings. She already knows some basic obedience, and she’s happiest when she has something to do and someone to do it with. She would thrive in a home where she can: • Play in the backyard • Go for hikes • Tag along to ball games • Be your outdoor sidekick She’s not delicate. She’s not dainty. She’s not a couch ornament. She’s fun. She’s sweet. She’s ready. Oshi keeps getting overlooked because she’s not “cute” in the traditional sense, but if you’re the kind of person who values personality, loyalty, and a dog who will happily jump in the truck and go wherever you’re headed, she might just be your girl. Sometimes the best dogs aren’t the pretty ones.

Story
www.pet-tender.com/adoptionform.htm   Lucky is about as sweet as they come.  She is shy with new people at first but warms up nicely and gets attached quickly.  She just wants to be with her person.  We think she could live with another dog...just has to be the right dog..she can be a little picky.  She is extremely playful at times but then just wants to cuddle at other times.  She is going to make a great companion for someone who just wants to hang with their pup.  She is a bit of an escape artist if left outside...but escapes to be with her person.   We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here. March 18, 2024, 12:23 am

Story
This is Frito! Yes, like the chips. He is a loving and playful boy. He spends most of the day lounging around the house but has big energy for play and walks in the afternoon. Frito is house broken. He gets along well with his human family members. Frito is very very shy at first and takes a while to warm up to new people. Can be bought with treats and once he warms up to you he is a loyal friend.

CRATE TRAINED:  Does not do well in crate HOUSE TRAINED:  Yes GOOD IN CAR:  Yes FUN FACTS: Layla's favorite spot? The couch!! Layla is a very affectionate, loving girl who has been through a great deal - but she's come through shining! She had to have hip surgery upon entering rescue due to being hit by a car, but she's recovered nicely. Layla is an adventurist, and she will bolt if given the chance (hence being hit by a car), so she needs someone experienced and dedicated to make sure she doesn't do this - this understanding and commitment is paramount. She will need a 6ft fence to be safe from potential escape, ALWAYS on a leash outside of the fence, and watched at doors. She loves to run and play, flashing her big smile when she's having fun. Layla is possessive of her toys, treats and food with other dogs, so while she's fine with medium to large dogs, this must be understood. She is a bossy female and isn't afraid to put them in their place should they try to take something that's hers. She's a princess who demands her authority. To people she's a dream. She loves to lay beside you and watch tv, go on long walks, and follow you around the house. She does, however, expect her food to be prepared and served ON TIME. That's the rule. Break that rule and you'll be called names. But you can save face by just giving her a kiss or rubbing her belly...her other 2 favorite things. Layla is house trained, doggy door trained, and rides well in the car. She's great at the vet, and is an overall superb gal...not to mention absolutely gorgeous. If you're looking for a buddy for walking, hiking, curling up with for your favorite movie or as your sidekick when you're out and about, Layla is the dog for you.   ##1466211##

Story
Contact foster at macey.e.p@gmail.com- Very cuddly and friendly to all people. Loves to lay right on top of you the second you sit down- Loves tug of war and playing fetch. Does not typically self entertain (does not play with any toys on her own, only if you`re playing with her)- Good with cats (I have one, zero issues since bringing her home)- Good with other dogs in the home environment- Highly reactive to other dogs on walks. Not aggressive when allowed to approach the other dog to sniff, but lots of loud barking and strong pulling- Appears anxious around other dogs, cars, noises etc, on walks. May like it better in a quieter environment (I am in the city)- Calm enough to lay with you for hours watching TV, but still plenty of energy to run and play when it`s time- House trained. Will let you know when she needs to go out- Does not `need` to be crated- no destructive behavior when left alone at home-Likes to hog the entire bed- Sweet girly!- Knows `sit` - Treat motivated and takes them very gently - Walks well on the leash - Loves sniffing and exploring on trails!
