My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Before her grand rescue, Oshi had a little mishap with a want-to-be plastic surgeon and let’s just say, her ears and tail didn’t quite get the makeover she envisioned! Now, this girl is strutting around CCA, waiting for a Hollywood ending. Her ideal outings include a visit to the lake or ocean, but she will settle for a kiddie pool and selection of squeak toys in the meantime. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she is treat motivated, making training a breeze. If you are looking for an enthusiastic running partner, Oshi is your girl.

More about this shelter

CCA was founded in 1980 by a small group of individuals dedicated to helping animals. Since then, our group has grown to include a small shelter. Our group's mission is varied: to maintain a shelter for abandoned, sick or injured animals; to adopt out dogs and cats to loving permanent homes; to provide for their animals low-cost spay/neuter assistance to families who lack the means to pay; and to strive to prevent and to stop abuse and/or neglect of an animal.

We are always in need of volunteers! If you are interested in becoming a part of our group, please let us know by calling 864.243.4222. We'd be glad to have you on board!
