Meet Aster: A Calm, Thinking Soul Looking for His Forever Home If you’re looking for a dog with depth, intelligence, and a peaceful presence, meet Aster. Aster is what we like to call a "thinker." He is observant and serious, often taking a moment to survey his surroundings with a wise, watchful eye. While he has a "front of the pack" confidence and loves to let loose with some playfulness outside, he is the ultimate gentleman indoors. His favorite activity? Finding a cozy dog bed and settling in for a long nap. He is potty trained, wonderful with children, and has even passed the "cat test" with flying colors. Aster can be a little standoffish with strangers at first—he prefers to make friends on his own terms rather than rushing in—but once you’re in his circle, he is deeply affectionate. He isn't the biggest fan of the crate, but he manages it like a pro. Aster is looking for a family that appreciates a smart, loyal companion who values peace and quiet as much as they do.

Here's a Penny for your thoughts--and a really cute one, too! This Penny is a shepherd/black mouth cur mix who loves everyone he meets and has lived with other dogs and cats, too! He has not been exposed to kids yet, but with proper introductions and a gentle approach, we think it will be a positive match! Playful, affectionate, and friendly, Penny has lived an indoor life previously and sleeps politely on his own bed at night; plus, he is already housebroken! Still a young pup at 6 months old, this young'un will still need some training to become YOUR dog, but eager Penny will make you proud!

Wise and WONDERFUL, 8-year-old Bo is a loverboy to those he trusts and is a super indoor/outdoor dog who comes housetrained, kennel trained and ready for love a second time around! Bo has shared his space with other dogs successfully and is a happy and playful guy who is unsure about kiddos at first, then becomes a built-in playmate for respectful children. He may have a little grey in his muzzle, but this uber-fit boy still longs to play and have fun! Fetch is his game of choice and he will faithfully return the ball right into your hand for more--amazing!! He has great manners, knows sit and shake, and treats are high on his list! We'd love to see if our amazing Bo is a match for your family!
