Then I was selected to attend a 3 month dog training program where I thrived learning basic commands, put on a few pounds and loved my name.... 'good boy'. I graduated and am now back at the shelter and boy oh boy am I ready for love. I have a playful personality and love going on walks and outdoor adventures. I've come far from my days as a stray, now a dog eager to continue training and learning..... anxiously awaiting the day when a loving family picks ME to love. I love him very much, but he is struggling in my home, and I am struggling to care for him and give him what he needs. He is a loving, playful, curious boy. He loves to get up in my chair with me and fall into my arms for snuggles. He loves to play frisbee and fetch, and to be outside running. He loves car rides and our garage-saling trips on Saturdays. He sleeps in the bed with me and our cat and is a perfect bedmate. He's a brainiac and can open doors, so heads up. He loves his cat sister and shares his food and space with her really nicely.Teddy got a very rough start in life and as a result has some challenges. I believe they are workable, but require someone with time and resources that I do not have.

Wonderful, well behaved dog from Old Yeller found in Davy Crockett National forest Saturday 04/27. Needs a home and some belly rubs *Info* Found In: Davy Crockett National Forest Vaccines: Completed Not neutered Health Condition: Has a few irritated bug bites from forest that will be healed over the next week. Tail was cut, scar by back right leg, scar by edge of right mouth all from some previous unknown incident(s) and all healed. Washed thoroughly multiple times with flea & tick remover once out of the forest. Temperament: Very chill and relaxed around people (I haven't heard him bark ever), great to run with, will follow even when not on leash. Great around small dogs and children (see last image) Rehoming fee: $20 I’d love to own this dog but my work schedule doesn’t allow me to give him the love he needs. He followed me on four 4-mile hikes through the forest over 2 days through rivers, dense bush, and over logs (see image attached). Message me for more details or to meet him!

She is housetrained and LOVES her crate for down time and sleeping.Rosita is currently fostered in a home with two older dogs (ages 7 and 8). While she has adjusted well to living with her two canine companions, she may do best as an only dog or in a home with an experienced dog owner.Rosita experiences leash reactivity outside the home that she is currently working on with the support of a behavior plan and is showing the beginnings of some ability to control and redirect her “big feelings”.Rosita will require a home that can provide her with continued work on her behaviors, a home with the time and patience to give her the engagement and training that her young and active mind needs. She loves her plush toys and benebones, and has never chewed up furniture or items not meant for her chewing.
