Meet Olivia: She and her 2 puppies were living in a neighborhood utility easement surviving off of the streets. Olivia is VERY sweet, well behaved, knows commands and is gentle. She loves people, getting her belly rubbed, giving kisses and playing with toys but does prefer to be the only dog in your life. We are not sure how such a sweet girl could end up on the streets, with babies, and even more so- why she is still at our shelter. Meet May! She's mastered all basic obedience training thanks to classes with Swift K9 Training. She LOVES people and kids, but would do best in a home with children over 8. She does not mind cats at all and completely ignores them. She loves her crate--it's her safe space. She is great on leash and loves walks. May is about 4.5 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She would do best in a home as an only dog, and needs a quiet, calm environment willing to take things slow to help her adjust to home life. My name is Skipper and I seem to have lost my SS Minnow. So it appears that I'm now indeed searching for a new fur-ever crew where we could take that '3 hour' tour...err, maybe we should make that tour on land. I'm hoping to enjoy many many tours with my new crew!! I'm around 11 months old, so still just a youngster. Much too young to be a captain. I'm more than ready to leave the captain-ing to you. I'm very friendly and outgoing, always ready to play ball and I do great with...everyone! Kiddos, puppers and even cats! I really love my people and there isn't anything better than being with them. I'm around the 40ish lb range and shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. And let me tell you that's a perfect size.
