  Waylon is approximately 5 months old and 40 pounds. He is good with other dogs with proper introductions but can be  a little bit stingy with toys. He likes to run and will counter surfs a little bit and he's not a 100% house broken but we're working on that too. Currently living with 3 other dogs and 4 cats. He wants to play with the cats but being so big it's not feasible. He takes correction and redirects well.. He already knows how to sit and wait for his food and his treats although he can get a little antsy. Waylon likes to sleep in the bed and will follow you from room to room. He's very attached to his person. He is currently teething so he has to be watched.  He is fully vetted including  neuter, microchip, all puppy vaccinations, as well as rabies vaccination. PIPER IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED!    This adorable girl is Piper. She is a stunning 2-year-old, 38lb Black Mouth Cur mix. She was pulled from a shelter back in August, and she was in pitiful shape: underweight and scared! That is NO MORE. Her foster mom has gotten her fattened up and healthy. She has helped build her confidence. Piper is now a well-rounded, wonderful dog.   She is a very energetic dog. She loves running and playing in the yard with her toys and fur siblings. She is house trained and is very good in the house. She is doing good on leash; she pulls a little, but we are working on that! She gets along good with other dogs. Her foster home also has two cats, and she has not bothered them beyond curiosity. She is playful and loves tug of war! She listens and learns easily. She would enjoy outdoor activities with her furever family. This girl gets compliments on her looks and mannerisms everywhere we go! Piper is going to make someone a great dog, no doubt.   She is fully vetted including spay, microchip, all shots including her rabies shot. Her adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to VA. Someone just dropped these two sweet brothers off and drove away, leaving them to fend for themselves. At 10 pounds and 2 weeks old! A kind neighbor called the rescue and, of course we had to say yes! Now both of them are looking to be adopted into their own forever homes. They are both just as sweet as pie, playful, love time with each other and other dogs and are just as silly and goofy as a puppy should this. These boys will need love and guidance, but we are positive that they are destined to be great dogs! Roo is a stray found in Raymond, Mississippi when she was about 4 months old. She has the most beautiful blue eyes and softest coat ever! She is golden brown in color with the long legs and ears of a hound. Roo is dog, people, and children friendly. She loves to play and is super sweet. Roo loves to run and play. She needs plenty of room to play, as she is a high energy dog; however, once she plays and expends her energy, she does settle down nicely. At one time, she was with a foster family who had 3 children and several dogs. She loved the children and dogs and played with them well. Roo is now boarding, and she desperately needs a forever home! Roo is being cared for in Mississippi but we do transport. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. So the good and the not so good but honest: The Good: She is brilliant and loving and creative and fun! She does her best to make her owner happy! I’ve taught her several tricks as well as a “cue” when she needs to “go potty” (she understands). So if you see her pacing with her purple ring toy it’s time to go! She knows sit, paw, heel, (walking manners depend on her energy level that day), down, and we are rolling over occasionally and staying. The Bad: Zoey has been adopted before. She needs an experienced trainer and I would recommend professional help. I have worked and worked with her tirelessly to try and train her reactivity to other dogs. It is her fatal flaw! She will yell and pull at other dogs. I’ve done all I can afford to do… I have to relocate to another state for work and have nowhere for her to live during the transition. If you’re very experienced with reactivity/ training, she is a dream come true.
