Roscoe was abandoned by his owners, chained to a tree in NC 😔 He joined Sandy at our WV kennels last weekend and he is just the sweetest boy 🥰 We were told he was around 7 years old but Sandy feels he’s more like 4-5. He’s UTD on vaccinations, neutered and gets along great with other dogs. He is very independent but loves attention and will wiggle his whole body when you are loving on him ☺️ He is located in Dunmore WV but transport assistance is available to the right home. Story
This VERY sweet girl is still just a baby at only 1-1.5 years old and she’s a small girl at only 57#…Perfect size for sharing your lap, with an added bonus of “maybe” leaving you room in the bed! 😁 Elvira is extremely loving, VERY kissy, and chock full of energy ☺️ She LOVES to play and will need another playful K9 companion to romp with. She’s also fine with cats & kids, crate trained and pretty much house trained if kept in a routine…Just an all around great girl ❤️ Elvira is fully vetted and located at our rescue kennel in Dunmore WV but transport assistance is available to the right home. To request an application or for more information about this pretty lady please EMAIL us at ammarescue@gmail.com!

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Looking for a four-legged friend who is silly, sweet, and super fun? Meet Willow, a lovable goofball ready to make you laugh and melt your heart. Willow has been staying with a professional trainer (Thank you, Carmen with Inspired Paws of Cookeville!) to help establish her foundation of basic obedience. Willow is a 15-month-old, 40lbs Mt Cur / Coonhound / Pit Bull Terrier mix who gets along great with other dogs who can match her energy, adores humans, and is confident. She loves to wrestle with stuffed toys, or play tug-of-war with her doggy pals. Willow also loves to fetch a tennis ball. When tuckered out from playing, she can often be found snoozing in her kennel, or curled up on a blanket. Willow has learned to walk well on leash and enjoys going for car rides.  Willow is quickly becoming at pro at the basic commands such as Sit, Down, Stay, Heel, Place, and Off. She is fully housetrained. When she is adopted, the trainer is happy to meet with her new family free of charge to help with the transition, show off her training, and support her new homecoming! The ideal home for her will have a fenced yard with enough space for her to run and play. She would also love someone who will take her on hikes and outdoor activities.  If you’re looking for a goofy and affectionate buddy who will make you smile and laugh all day, EVERY day, look no further than Willow.    Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. April 24, 2024, 12:33 pm
