Housetrained and LOVES other dogs. Needs a patient owner, shes a little slow to warm up, but once she does, shes happy, playful and affectionate. She is extremely friendly and wiggly when she wakes up in the morning and is super happy to see you. Rides well in the car and enjoys it. Loves to pay fetch and will make a great fetch partner! Loves to play in water. Will do best with another playful dog. Please visit our website to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our upcoming adoption event locations.

I am part of the "Go BIG for Summer" adoption promotion and my adoption fee is reduced to $200 through August 31st!Meet Shaggy, our charismatic four-year-old Bloodhound weighing in at a sturdy 101 pounds! Shaggy is a bundle of joy and friendliness, always eager for a pat on the head or a leisurely walk on his leash. He's got energy to spare, loves a good game of fetch, and isn't shy about using his impressive Bloodhound bark when he's in high spirits. While Shaggy is working on sharing his space around food, he's making great strides every day. His playful nature makes him a fantastic companion for medium to large dogs, though he's also content to be your one and only. A lover of the simple pleasures, Shaggy delights in crunching on ice to keep cool and splashing around in water on those hot days.Previously house-trained and accustomed to living in a home, Shaggy knows the ropes of home life. He's not just looking for a home; he's ready to be someone's running buddy and lifelong friend. If you're seeking a loyal, loving companion with a zest for life and an appetite for adventure (and treats!), Shaggy is your guy. Come meet him and let's give Shaggy the loving forever home he deserves!*****Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, many of these dogs come around with patience and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience. 🌙🐾 Meet Luna: Your New Playful Companion! 🐾🌟 Prepare to be captivated by Luna, a sweet and playful pup ready to steal your heart with her caramel-colored eyes and infectious smile! This delightful girl is a true sweetheart, and she's on the lookout for her forever family through From Forgotten to Forever Rescue. Luna's curiosity knows no bounds, and she thrives on exploring the exciting world around her, nose to the ground, taking in all the captivating smells. This playful pup absolutely adores going on walks and is working on her overexcitement when seeing another animal on her walks. Luna is a well-mannered leash companion, making strolls through the neighborhood a joy. Luna has had some training on barking through the fence and on walks. Training has been easier due to her desire to please her human and her food motivation. While Luna loves playing with the three other dogs in her foster home ,she looks forward to her forever home. Luna dreams of finding an energetic family with a yard, eager for a pup to join in cuddle sessions and embark on exciting adventures at the park. And let's not forget, car rides are one of Luna's absolute favorite things! Luna's journey with From Forgotten to Forever Rescue began when she was pulled from a rural Colorado shelter. Sadly surrendered by her previous owner, Luna, who had been rescued as a pup before, found herself in need of a loving home once again. Now, at around 4 years old, Luna is a happy camper in her foster home, but she yearns for a forever family to share her joy. If you can offer Luna the love and care she deserves, consider making her a cherished part of your family. Apply now at to embark on a beautiful journey with Luna, where love and companionship await! 🏡🐾 #AdoptLuna #FromForgottenToForever #ForeverHomeDreams 🌟🐶
