Story
Hi, my name is Henry the Hound! I’m a fun-loving fella looking for my forever home. I’m 2.5 years old, so I’m still very much a big puppy at heart. I am a purebred/pureheart bloodhound I love to play keep away, chew up hand towels and an occasional sock if left unattended. I love to be around people and to cuddle as space allows. I prefer to sleep on the floor but will oblige a couch or comfy cushion if invited. I am born to run and need a good-sized fenced yard and space to play. Henry makes his presence known and enjoys a good neighborly chat with the dogs next door. I would love the opportunity to explore the great outdoors and do some hunting with my new owner. Henry does great by himself at home when his owner’s are at work or leave to run errands.  Put in an application today at eapl.com  His adoption fee is $250 -  Up-to-date with vaccinations -  Good with dogs -  Good with kids -  Reaction to new people: Friendly -  House trained -  Available date: Ready to play & love -  Birth date12/11/2021 -  Activity level: Active -  Indoor/outdoor: Comfortable indoors and outdoors April 29, 2024, 11:08 am

Wiggles is a smart, playful love bug with a beautiful brindle coat and dark face who loves people and other dogs. She learned the sit command in 2 days! She is playful with other dogs, balls, and toys, but can also settle down and just snuggle. She just wants to be with you. Wiggles loves petting and attention and will ask for belly rubs. Having a confident dog to emulate has helped her with training and overcoming fears. She is potty trained and crate trained.  ##1916936##

Meet Memphis, a charming 6-year-old hound mix with a heart of gold. This lovable pup is seeking a forever home where he can shower his humans with affection and receive plenty of belly rubs in return. Memphis is a playful and friendly companion who adores spending time with people. However, Memphis struggles with separation anxiety and would thrive in a home where his humans can provide him with the love and support he needs to feel secure. Memphis can be a little rude and pushy meeting other dogs and may be choosy about his friends. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who will brighten your days with his playful antics and unwavering loyalty, Memphis is the perfect match for you! What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended* Someone home most of the tme* May be choosy about canine friends

Story
Introducing Tiger! Tiger was saved from the euthanasia list at ACS in San Antonio in January. A little back story on him…get your tissues ready…this poor guy has had a terrible life. The kind soul who saved him from being euthanized lived next door to Tiger and helped take care of him his whole life. Tiger’s owner passed away a couple of months ago, and the owner’s girlfriend surrendered Tiger to ACS. His owner had him tied up outside all his life. He was always neglected and infested with fleas. Often the neighbor found herself having to feed and give him water because his owner would not. Despite living in such miserable conditions, in those moments of offering Tiger care, she said he was the sweetest and most caring dog and when she found out he had been surrendered, she could not let him lose his life. He deserves the chance to know love and be loved.  Tiger is an older gentleman. He’s 8, almost 9 years old and weighs in at 65 pounds. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and current on both flea & tick and heartworm prevention. He’s goofy, gentle, and playful for his age. He’s great with anyone he meets and other dogs too but would do best in a home without cats. Tiger is ready to find a family who is going to shower him with love and let him live out his golden years.  Could you be his hero? redfernanimalrescue.org/adopt ##1991538##
