Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/5/25 Beau is a teddy bear disguised as a puppy. The people who surrendered him said he was a basset hound mixed with Great Pyrenees but I'm not so sure about that. I think hes more likely a bloodhound mix. In any case, he has a beautiful, incredibly soft coat, and big floppy ears. He is a heavy boned pup, and will be a big boy once grown. He is only 11 weeks old now and weighs 25 lbs. He will most likely be around 80-100 lbs once grown. He is just a big, goofy, clumsy, sweet boy who loves everyone and everything. He is working on house training and making progress, but his foster home includes many dogs so it's hard to get outside in time when he needs to go. He will do better with this once he's in a home of his own with a family who can focus more on training him. This little big guy is just precious and he is going to be an amazing family pet! He is ready to transport on 12/12/25. He is neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.  Beau is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
