Story
LOCATION: BROKEN ARROW, OK ADOPTABLE ANYWHERE IN THE USA Barney is 95 lbs of bloodhound who has no idea he's 95 lbs of bloodhound. He's playful with other dogs, playful with strangers, house trained, and crate trained- he already knows sit and stay and he's ready to learn more. He's been chewing and jumping some, which for a 2 year old hound with a big goofy body just means he needs a job and someone patient enough to give him one. He came from being dumped in the country before landing with a foster who got him healthy and now he's ready for a fresh start. Barney wants a yard to roam, a person who'll spend real time with him, and probably a very large couch cushion to call his own. If you've got the patience for a big loud sweet nose-first dog who's still figuring out his own body, Barney's your guy. helplesshounds.com/adopt

Story
Hey there — I'm Huckleberry, a 5-month-old brindle and white Treeing Walker Coonhound mix who's ready for adventure! 🐾 I'm already neutered and weighing in at a strapping 27 pounds, which means I'm going to be a solid companion as I grow. My shelter people say I'm adventurous, affectionate, and goofy — basically, I'm all about having fun and showing love to my favorite humans. 🎉I'm waiting to find my forever family so we can explore the world together. Come meet me and let's start our next great adventure! ❤️

Story
What’s worse then being abandoned and shun to the streets with your brother, having to not only fend for yourself, but fend for a litter of puppies and trying to keep them safe? Buster helped his sister keep her litter safe until we found them and brought them to safety. These two are a very bonded pair and we will only adopt them together, but what is better then one dog TWO of course. They just love to be loved on. They will need some basic training. Both are crate trained.

Story
LOCATION: TULSA, OK ADOPTABLE ANYWHERE IN THE USA Pebble's the kind of handsome that makes you forgive a slightly slower response time. He's gorgeous, sweet, and about as dreamy as a puppy can get- the type who can be found off in his own little world, taking in vibes rather than the instructions. That being said, he more than makes up for it in snuggles and sheer good looks. He's not ignoring you, he's just operating on Pebble time. If you're looking for a laid-back, affectionate coonhound puppy who's more interested in cuddling up next to you than winning any obedience trials, Pebble might be exactly who you've been waiting for. helplesshounds.com/adopt
