Story
Remember Noah? Noah came to us from our local shelter, where he spent about 4 months there hiding under his dog bed! Now, he's thriving in a life-saving, foster home! Noah is a petite, plott hound mix who weighs about 35-40 pounds and is about 2-3years old. He's still scared of loud noises and needs a securely fenced yard and a least one other playful dog for him to be comforted by. Noah loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He is crate trained and building confidence every day but will need a patient family who understands that he is going to be scared when he moves to a new home. Noah is a special guy who deserves the best of furEVER homes! And we are ready to help him find it! Can you be the happy ending that Noah has been waiting for? Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. This is a sweet girl ready to find her own home. She is fun, loves to play with other puppies, and is friendly. She is part of a fun group that is pretty easy going. She will need all the basic puppy training but should have no problems learning a new routine. She will need a yard or activities to stay busy per her breed mix. She is a happy, friendly girl who would be a wonderful companion for any family. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Hello! I'm Blue, and I thrive on attention and cuddles, there’s no doubt my boundless energy will keep you on your toes. Despite my playful nature, I'm well-suited for a quiet home with older children. I don't mind cats but need a home without other dogs. I like to be the center of attention. I would make a great hiking buddy for an active household. If you're looking for a loyal and energetic companion, adopt me today!

Story
Trying to find a new home for my best friend. Free had a rough start to life, I rescued him from RACC in 2020, but he really rescued me. He is an absolute companion dog. He is protective, loving, playful but also can be lazy and lay around. He does have some fear aggression and reactivity challenges, but he is absolutely able to learn and with the right owner he will thrive. I had a child in November and Free adores him, but I am unexpectedly on my own and I am unable to provide him the best life. I can see some of his original behaviors start to come back and he doesn't deserve that. He has been good with all the kids that he has met. Wouldn't suggest a house with cats. He loves to go on adventures and was originally trained off leash to do so- again, he would need some refreshers but he really aims to please. Please help me find a new home where Free Ride can truly be Free and loved.
