Story
Age: 1 year old Gender: Male Breed: Doberman Pinscher / German Shepherd Mix Weight: 110 lbs Personality: Bear is a perfect balance of energy and affection. With a higher energy level, he enjoys daily walks and outdoor adventures, but he is equally content to relax and snuggle at home with his favorite people. Bear thrives on companionship of other dogs. He loves being close, often curling up beside you on the couch or even trying to fit on your lap, or wrestling with his foster fur sibling. Bear is incredibly loyal and likes to build strong bonds with the people around him. Bear's intelligence shines through in how quickly he picks up new commands and tricks, making him fun and easy to train. Playful and sweet, Bear adores his toys—whether it’s a game of fetch, throwing his toys in the air, or simply chewing on a bone or a favorite squeaky toy. Bear has a gentle and friendly nature that makes him good with older children (his energy and size may be too much for toddlers). He loves other dogs and will play with them non-stop if given the opportunity. Overall, Bear is a wonderful companion, blending playfulness with loyalty and a strong desire for close connection. Education: Bear is potty trained, crate trained, and he knows commands like sit, stay, lay down. Walking on a leash is still a work in progress, but Bear is doing well and will continue to need proper socialization, training, and consistency. He has no separation anxiety. Favorite Activities: Bear loves to go on walks and enjoys watching all the action around him. He loves being with his people and wants to make sure he is making them happy, and loves even more to have a dog to engage in play with in the home. Bear loves to snuggle and give hugs. Bear loves throwing around stuffed toys and chewing on bones and chew sticks. Bear enjoys car rides and is either sticking his nose out the window or falling fast asleep for the drive. Looking for: Bear will be a great companion for outdoor activities like walking, hiking, or playing fetch, making him a perfect dog for active individuals or families with another dog in the home. Bear is always affectionate, eager to please, and enjoys spending quality time with his people and is happiest when he is included in family activities. Anyone who adopts Bear will get a loyal, smart, curious, playful, and very sweet best friend. Follow his foster @joey.n.friends.new.adventures !
