Story
EMILIO IS A VERY ENERGETIC PUPPY WHO LOVES TO PLAY AND RUN ALL DAY LONG. HE IS VERY ACTIVE SO HE REQUIRES DAILY EXERCISE SUCH AS GAMES, RUNNING, LONG WALKS, ETC; AND A SPACIOUS PLACE WITH A FENCE WHERE HE CAN RUN FREE AND SAFE. HE HAS NO PROBLEM WITH CHILDREN OR SMALLER DOGS BUT HE IS A BIT ROUGH TO PLAY WITH. DOES NOT GET ALONG WITH CATS. HE LIKES TO SOCIALIZE AND MEET OTHER DOGS, ALTHOUGH HE IS STILL A BIT NAUGHTY LIKE ANY PUPPY. HE LOVES CHEW TOYS AND TREATS, ESPECIALLY DOG COOKIES. IS TRAINED TO EAT FROM HIS OWN BOWL. IS USED TO LIVING WITH A LOT OF DOGS, EITHER BIGGER OR A LITTLE BIT SMALLER. HE CAN BE A LITTLE SHY AT THE BEGINNING BUT WITH PATIENCE AND LOVE HE WILL SHOW HIS LOVING AND PLAYFUL PERSONALITY. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Story
Taylor is a beautiful tall female. She is high energy high drive. She is good with dogs and takes a little to warm up with people but will be good after introduction. She really needs someone who will want to provide enough physical and mental exercise. Taylor will also need someone willing to work with her separation anxiety which is something we will guide you through our training program which is part of the adoption. Taylor would be a great companion for someone who likes running and hiking. She is also for someone who would like teach her and train with her with activities because of her drive.April 25, 2024, 5:29 pm

Story
She'll make sure you are fit n fine! That I am! I am Dr. LunchLady and I am a 4 years old, spayed female Aussie Cattledog, all of 27 lbs. I was rescued from ESLR and fostered by my working-dog savvy foster mom. I got adopted but my energy and drive wasn't a match for the home, so here I am! I know that there is a pawtastic home for me, and I will be running around there. I am incontinent and leak urine when relaxing without meds, so I am taking Proin (~$30 for a months supply, price varies on market value and where purchased). I am fully bathroom and leash trained and so smart that I am a honor roll student! I do have a high arousal state and can be leash reactive, more out of frustration than aggression. I mean, I don't mind other dogs, but want to check and make sure they have their license and registrations on them :) I am the Lunchlady! I am a classic working dog and happiest when mentally enriched. I am very sweet and loving with my people, but wary of strangers and take time to warm up.  Toys are my jam and food is my biggest motivator, and so is work! Give me tricks and tasks and watch me flourish! I get along with dogs, more like tolerant, and happiest when we are working together with my person. I do prefer having one confident dog companion. Cats and kids are not really my thing. I do show herding behavior and nervousness. I prefer being mellow at home rather than social trips. Even if taken to a restaurant, my panting is a clear sign of anxiety and shutting down, and not calmness (any dog savvy person will get it!). So being chill at home is ideal for me, and then doing fun stuff in the yard like frisbee, agility, herding, bite-work, obedience.  I would love a high-drive dog savvy person to be my furever human! Someone who sees my athletic and working instincts and performs dedicated activities with me routinely. I have started frisbee and just passed my herding instinct test with flying colors! I am good with other dogs and would do best with at least one, as a confident dog would help me let loose. However, I would be okay as an only dog too! I need an adults only and calm environment without too many strangers being in and out. Please check my IG for more of me @honeybaked_hamdog  If you think we can be a real cool activity loving pair, let's meet up! My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/ ##1787508##
