He loves being close, often curling up beside you on the couch or even trying to fit on your lap, or wrestling with his foster fur sibling. Bear is incredibly loyal and likes to build strong bonds with the people around him. Bear's intelligence shines through in how quickly he picks up new commands and tricks, making him fun and easy to train. Playful and sweet, Bear adores his toys—whether it’s a game of fetch, throwing his toys in the air, or simply chewing on a bone or a favorite squeaky toy. Bear has a gentle and friendly nature that makes him good with older children (his energy and size may be too much for toddlers). We are currently doing courtesy posts because we don't have space in our rescue to bring dogs in. Diesel (under 2yrs male) is desperately needing of a new loving home. The owner gave him to the neighbor after the neighbor pleaded with them to let her take him because he was housed outside all day everyday since he's a puppy on a tiny cement patio with no sunlight and hardly any walks or interaction. Diesel is a sweet shy boy who has been horribly neglected all his life but is so eager to love people. Due to his neglect because he hasn't been around children or other animals we believe it's best to be the only dog in home. It is very possible for him to be around other animals and kids with proper training in the future. Story
Charlie is a 5 year old mix between a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Shar-Pei and Pit, she loves to be in the company of people, she love attention and to be pet. She is extremely smart is treat motivated, meaning she can be trained very easily. She sleeps most of the day on her bed, but loves walks around the neighborhood, playing with her squeeker toys, hikes, the beach and playing fetch at the park. Charlie would thrive with an active owner who loves the outdoors and car rides. She also loves playing with other dogs. Charlie stays up-to-date with her veterinary checkups and vaccinations, but also suffers from skin allergy reactions to certain foods. As a result she takes a pill every morning to help counter-act the side effects of her allergies, if left untreated for even a day she will develop itchy bumps on her skin and ear infections. She also can be uneasy around younger children (5-12 yo) as she seems to have a slight distrust towards them.
