Name: FINN Age: 3 years (born February 10, 2022) Breed: 50% American Foxhound, 20% Labrador Retriever, and 30% Super Mutt Finn is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves kids and puppies. She is happiest outdoors – running through the woods, playing in the snow, splashing in the water or digging at the beach. After adventuring, she loves to curl up by a cozy fire and relax with her people. Finn is loyal, gentle and playful. As a true outdoor-loving dog, Finn thrives with plenty of exercise and space. She would do best with a family – especially one with multiple people or someone who works from home – who can give her the activity, attention, and companionship she loves. A home with a backyard or access to long, daily walks would be ideal. Finn was professionally trained as a puppy. She is housebroken, does not need to be in a crate (but was crate-trained), can sit, lie down and stay. She was on Hill’s Science Diet food until recently switching to Farmer’s Dog, which she loves. Her favorite human foods are cheese and peanut butter. All of her medical records are available and all vaccinations are up to date. Because none of us are perfect…. Finn gets overly excited and still jumps up on people. She isn’t perfect with all dogs – it really depends on the breed. My vet says she likes easy-tempered, happy dogs (ex. Golden Retrievers) or puppies who aren’t a threat. When she senses dogs to be a threat or a bit aggressive, she will defend herself. Finn can also get very territorial around sticks or balls with other dogs around. She can be stubborn. She has some noise aversions – trucks, helicopters, sirens – all of the Big City noises. And, she does not love the car. How to meet dogs listed with "NY" : If the dog is listed with an 'Avail date" and a (location) - the dog cannot be met until the event and it is a first come, first served adoption event with the dogs being met in the order the potential adopters sign in. Thank you for your interest in adopting! We look forward to helping you adopt your next companion animal. All dogs and cats are fostered in volunteer homes with working families, kids and teenagers, other dogs and sometimes cats too. When your application is approved, we put you in touch with the foster for FaceTime so you can see your puppy in real time and ask questions. It's a process that's worked for hundreds of dogs over the past fifteen years. We start crate training puppies about ten weeks and send our crate training sheet with every adoption. A fence is not required to adopt a puppy. All dogs and cats are fully vetted prior to adoption. Spayed/neutered, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormed, parasite prevention. Any medical issue that was treated is fully disclosed. All dogs come with medical records. There is lots of room to write on the application. Please tell us about yourself, and your pets, current or previous. Skye's mom is a purebred Weimaraner, dad was a mixed breed traveling salesman. We really don't know what's in her mix without a DNA test. Usually several breeds on a mixed breed dog. Mom dog is spayed now. We have better pictures of her we can text if you adopt. Skye is fostered with cats and adult dogs. One of her foster Moms cats love these puppies! Skye is 10 weeks old 3/5 and about 12 pounds. We expect her to grow to a medium sized dog. This litter will transport to their adopters 3/26-3/28. Transportation is included in the total adoption fee. We have to pay for every animal that we send North on Transport. Antler here and I’m still looking for my forever home. I am now four months old and weighing in at 21 pounds. A reminder that I am a bluetick coonhound, male and I have been neutered and chipped already. I am currently up to date with my shots for my age and my full grown weight can range anywhere from 55 to 80 pounds . Although I have loved these last five weeks with my foster mama, I’m still waiting for someone to please take me in so I can find my forever home and family. I am good with dogs, good with kiddos, and I have a great demeanor. We also can’t forget how lovable I am. I have lots of energy and like to play with my toys, but when I’m calm, I can sleep for hours. I’m so sad that no one has taken interest in me and I just don’t understand why . Meet Doc 🐶💙 Doc is an approximately 4 year old coonhound mix with a huge heart and an even bigger love for attention. He is a lovable, affectionate boy who truly enjoys being close to his people and will happily nose his way in if you are petting another dog. Doc is crate trained and continuing to work on house training. He knows how to use a doggie door and is making great progress. He had some marking behaviors early on, which have improved significantly with structure and routine. He is very dog friendly and loves to play with other dogs. Doc has not been tested with cats and has only lived with adult children, but his sweet and gentle nature suggests he would likely do well with respectful kids. He appears to have lived mostly outdoors or in a one story home before rescue, but he has now discovered the couch and loves settling in right next to his person. He recently conquered the staircase and continues to gain confidence every day. Doc is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions. Adoption Fee $200 local in Texas $450 out of state with transport included 🚐
