Story
Meet Sweet Caroline! Let me tell you, she is one special girl. This adorable 7-month-old, 44 pound,  Kemmer Cur/Blue Tick Hound mix is the definition of a sweet hound dog through and through. Sweet Caroline is very fun and affectionate and absolutely adores other dogs and children. She gets along wonderfully with the resident dogs and loves playing with the two kids (ages 6 and 10) every day.Her coloring is simply stunning and makes her stand out in the best way. She has striking brindle-style stripes of the Cur running down her back and the most beautiful blue-ticked speckles on her belly, legs, and paws. This unique coloring gives her an eye-catching look that turns heads everywhere she goes. Sweet Caroline is house trained, but still very much a puppy. She loves to play and is very eager to learn. She loves to play and picks up new things quickly. This bright girl would do well with dogs, children, and a fenced yard. She loves to run and play outside. She is also crate trained and comfortable in it. She also sleeps all night so you can be assured that there won't be any 3 am potty trips. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving, and incredibly smart companion who will bring endless joy, tail wags, and love into your life, Sweet Caroline is ready and waiting to be your furever girl. Come meet her—you’re going to fall head over heels!   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue about her at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We adopt to Tennessee and also transport to the northeastern corridor to be available to 12 more states and their families.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 21, 2026, 12:57 pm

Story
Meet Blue, a talkative Bluetick Hound with puppy eyes that could melt anyone’s heart. Blue was found wandering the streets of Jemison, Alabama, but you’d never guess she had been alone. From the moment we met her, she was all tail wags and friendliness, greeting everyone like an old friend. Drool and all, Blue doesn’t even notice when she’s slobbering on you—she’s too busy sharing her joy. At about 4 years old, she’s the perfect mix of energy and maturity. Blue loves car rides, adores attention, and has a voice to match her hound heritage—always ready to “chat” with you in her own special way. And while she’s no puppy, her soulful eyes still sparkle with that same sweet innocence. Blue is looking for a forever family who will appreciate her goofy charm, hound “conversations,” and all the love she has to give. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who’s equal parts sweetheart and sidekick, Blue is waiting to meet you.

Story
Nimbus – 4-Year-Old Aussie Cattle Dog / Bluetick Coonhound / Certified Good Boy Mix (50 lbs) – Lyles, TN (Dickson) Let’s talk about this handsome, slightly goofy, very good boy. Nimbus is about 4 years old (birthday around June), neutered, and around 50 pounds of personality. He’s an Aussie Cattle Dog and Bluetick Coonhound mix, with an official side title of Certified Good Boy. He’s a sweet, kind-hearted pup with a gentle temperament and just enough sass to keep life interesting. He’s playful, loving, and has the cutest way of showing affection. He’s not big on big bear hugs, but he will absolutely hold your hand, give you little kissies, and happily lay right next to you like your loyal sidekick. He is fantastic with other dogs and is often used as the peacekeeper when personalities get a little… spicy. He’s incredibly smart, loves learning new tricks, and is very play-motivated. His favorite toy is a stuffed duck that makes a real quacking noise, and yes, he is OBSESSED. He has loads of personality, very expressive eyes, and that “main character energy” that makes everyone fall in love with him. Nimbus can be nervous around very small children and would do best in a home with kids 10+. Quick movements can startle him a bit, so he thrives in a calm, steady environment where he can feel safe and relaxed. He will need to be brought up to date on his vaccinations. His dream home would have space to run and play, or a human who loves walks, adventures, and having a four-legged shadow. He does best when he has people around and would love someone who has time to spend with him. He is not crate trained and would much prefer to be out living life with you than hanging out alone. He may do especially well in a home with other dogs to keep him company. It’s unknown how he is with cats, as he hasn’t really been around them, but he has never shown any aggression toward other animals. He’s generally just curious and friendly when meeting new buddies. If you or someone you know is looking for a loyal sidekick with a big heart, a goofy personality, and a serious love for squeaky duck toys, Nimbus could be your perfect match. Message me if you’d like to meet him and spend some time getting to know him. His adoption fee is waived; however, transport costs are not included. If you’re located outside of Tennessee, please be prepared to cover transport, and we’ll gladly help coordinate everything with our trusted transporter. And if you’re not in a place to adopt right now, please share this post so we can help this sweet boy find his happily ever after. ##2652585##
