Meet Blue, a talkative Bluetick Hound with puppy eyes that could melt anyone’s heart. Blue was found wandering the streets of Jemison, Alabama, but you’d never guess she had been alone. From the moment we met her, she was all tail wags and friendliness, greeting everyone like an old friend. Drool and all, Blue doesn’t even notice when she’s slobbering on you—she’s too busy sharing her joy. At about 4 years old, she’s the perfect mix of energy and maturity. Blue loves car rides, adores attention, and has a voice to match her hound heritage—always ready to “chat” with you in her own special way. And while she’s no puppy, her soulful eyes still sparkle with that same sweet innocence. Blue is looking for a forever family who will appreciate her goofy charm, hound “conversations,” and all the love she has to give. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who’s equal parts sweetheart and sidekick, Blue is waiting to meet you.

Story
Rocky is a loving, affectionate boy who truly enjoys being around people. He is great with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and has a sweet, friendly personality. He loves attention, being part of the family, and spending time outdoors. He was born in September 2025 and is in his teenager stage. We’ve worked hard with training and have given this a lot of time and thought, but Rocky has some challenges that have made him a difficult fit for our household. He does not do well in a crate and will cry when confined, and he also gets carsick and frequently vomits during car rides. We love Rocky and want what is best for him. We’re hoping to find a patient, loving home that can give him the attention and environment he needs to thrive.
