Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey there, I’m Delilah    I’m a sweet girl looking for a family to cuddle with. I love to lounge around the house on beds and couches or piles of blankets. One of my favorite things to do in life might just be to sleep in bed.    I have large ears perfect for scratching! I really love a good rub down! My love language is without a doubt physical touch. Who can resist these ears anyway?    When I’m relaxed and comfortable you will hear me moan and groan. My foster aunties have joked that I sound like a small cow! All I really want to do is be near my people. I’m my most calm when I’m with my family! I am not kennel trained but I do well in my foster aunties office with the door closed when they are out. I sleep through the night in the office too. I take a minute to calm and will bark, but I settle in after a few minutes and snooze on my blankets or bed or lick a Kong. In my previous home, I was trusted to be out and about while no one is home and at night. Maybe this could work for us too!    Speaking of the sounds I make, I am a blue tick hound and have that typical hound bark and bay. Though I don’t use it often, I will let you know if you’re not filling my food bowl fast enough. When I get excited I just gotta let you know! I’d do great in a house without shared walls.   My foster aunties have taken me on a few walks and they say I need some leash practice. I do okay over all but every so often I need reminders to not pull. My previous home didn’t take me out on walks much but I do really love to get out there! Are you up for helping me learn to be better at this skill?    I have lots of practice with dogs around my size or a bit smaller (40ish lbs and up). I spent the past few weeks living in a boarding facility and it was a lot of action all the time. I also had a sibling in my previous home and currently living with my foster cousin, who is a 40lb dog. over all we ignore each other and share space in peace! I can handle being on my own or with dogs near my size. I can handle some cats but will need some support as I get used to them and they get used to me.    Resource guarding some bones and toys was something my previous home talked about but my foster aunties have not seen that behavior yet. I do eat in a separate space than my foster cousin just to be carful.    I really want to find a home with good beds, lots of snuggle time and who appreciate all that I have to offer! I’m a super sweet, affectionate girl who is looking for a forever family to love on her!      Deliliah is from an Owner Surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Come meet Gator and her friends at our adoption event on Sat 12/13 from 12-2pm at Pet Supplies Plus in Fridley! Gorgeous Girl Gator (1y 9mo., 47lb) has spent over a year in shelter and foster care down in Alabama, and she is so ready to finally experience the love of her very own forever family! Don’t let her name fool you—she may have outgrown her puppy teefs, but she’s still 100% sweetness, charm, and joy. Gator is an outgoing, friendly social butterfly who lights up when she meets new people. She adores making friends—human and canine alike—and her tail seems to have only two modes: wagging fast and wagging faster. She’s the kind of pup who greets life with enthusiasm and warmth, making everyone around her smile. She loves running around the yard, exploring all the good sniffs, and settling in for long naps on her fluffy dog bed. Gator is doing great with her potty, leach, and crate training, and she’s eager to keep learning. While she enjoys other dogs, Gator especially appreciates hanging out with similar to lower-energy who match her vibe. She’d be happy living with or without another canine companion. She’s also been good with the kids and cats she’s met—though as an enthusiastic youngster, she may accidentally knock over very small kiddos during playtime. Being a clever young working-breed mix, Gator is highly trainable and would shine with continued obedience work or even agility. She’s already a snuffle-puzzle champion in the making! Gator’s ideal home includes (but isn’t limited to): • Humans who love walks, outdoor adventures, or fun activities and want a cheerful copilot • A friend to pal around with (optional but appreciated!) • Someone patient and excited to train and learn with her • A big, cozy dog bed—this one is non-negotiable according to Gator • Plenty of toys, enrichment, and sniffer games • Space to run, play, and explore If you’re looking for a friendly, outgoing, affectionate girl who will brighten every day, Gator is ready to bring her huge heart and happy spirit home to you   If you would like to learn more about Gator, please submit an interest form on our website:  https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com Follow us on Facebook & Instagram! https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue/ @RedemptionRoadRescueMN *Adoption fee for Gator is $625 + MN state tax* All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, DHPP vaccine series, Lepto. vaccine series, rabies vaccine, 4DX test (negative),  microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 8, 2025, 10:41 am

Just like his namesake, this 6-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound (60 lbs) is lovable, funny, and full of personality! Uncle Buck has the classic hound charm—friendly with everyone he meets and always ready to make you smile. He’s past the puppy stage but still has plenty of energy for walks, sniffing adventures, and playtime. Overall, he is a very easy going fellow. Uncle Buck’s is content with a couple of good walks and some belly rubs. He is an explorer at heart, and loves walking through tall grass, fields, and yards where he can. He’s getting used to city sidewalks and his harness, but is eager to please and learning fast there is still lots to see! His house manners are wonderful- he is extremely quiet and stays off the furniture unprompted. Buck loves being out in the neighborhood most, tail wagging, looking for pets from anyone willing to have their heart melted. His demeanor is happy and calm, and he gets along great with dogs, cats, and kids. Basically, Uncle Buck is all the perks of a great dog, with almost none of the hard work. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, and affectionate companion, Uncle Buck is your guy!   If you have previously applied with us please email placement@midwestanimalrescue.org to reactivate your application with new interest. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. Story
Cowabunga Dude!   Meet Rafael! He was born approximately March, 2024.  He came from a litter of 4. They named the puppies in the litter after the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!  We welcomed him into our home as our newest foster when he was around 5 weeks old. He was so tiny at 3 pounds that you could put him in your pocket. Boy has that changed! Today he weighs about 60 pounds! He's such a cute little snuggle bug. He loves to play and wrestle with his foster sister Wasp. He does great with our other two resident dogs as well! He's super friendly with everyone he meets. We're still working on the house training though. He will let you know when he needs to go outside to use the bathroom but if you don't stop what you're doing right away and let him out, he'll decide to just do his business wherever he's standing. He sleeps every night in crate with no issues at all. He gets along great with our children ages 8, 12, and 14. They love to sit and give him lots of love and attention. He'll even lay down and take naps with them while they're watch TV or playing video games.  Come check out Rafael and maybe you'll hit it off and your home could be his furever home!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:    $525.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 24, 2025, 10:46 pm
