You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Delilah Rose, a gorgeous hound with a heart of gold, waiting to blossom in her forever home! This “hunny bun” initially takes a day or so to feel comfortable, but once she trusts you, prepare for a lifetime of love and snuggles. Delilah Rose is seeking a laid-back household where she can lounge and be utterly adored. She’s an absolute sweetheart who thrives on being near her people, leaning into every pet, kiss, and snuggle with delightful enthusiasm. Imagine those soft, velvet ears and captivating hound eyes – they’re incredibly expressive and just beg for attention! Ideally, Delilah would love a home with a medium to large dog companion, or she’d be content as your sole furry friend. True to her breed, Delilah has an impressive bark. While not frequent, it’s best for her to find a home without shared walls. As long as she's part of the action, she's a happy girl! Her unique charm includes the most adorable "big moans" when she's relaxed, sounding like a contented mini-cow! While her prior home mentioned allergy meds, the cause is unclear, so her new family might want to investigate with their vet. Delilah enjoys walks but could benefit from consistent leash training to curb some pulling. Regarding toys, her previous home noted resource guarding tendencies. While we haven't observed this with her, we recommend supervised play or offering toys one-on-one. More than anything, she loves a comfy bed and blanket, and will gladly join you on the couch for some quality cuddle time. Ready to welcome this sweet, soulful hound into your heart?
