Story
Utah (her friends call her Luna) was surrendered due to no fault of her own. She is good on leash and is housebroken. Luna knows her basic commands and will sit nicely for a treat. Luna is a just a sweet love and enjoys having her belly or soft ears rubbed. This beautiful girl is good with other dogs once she gets a chance to meet /socialize with them but has never lived with cats. Luna tolerates children well and is very interested in being near them for a bit but will then ignore them. Luna is about 8 years old and 50 pounds. Please help Luna find a loving home to live out her golden years. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. Story
Ophelia “Ophie” recently found herself back with her foster family due to no fault of her own after growing up in a home for the last 7 months. She is just under a year old and 55 pounds. She is a mixed breed pup (pittie, border collie, blue tick coonhound, German shepherd, & great pyrenees just to name a few!) with very unique white/tan markings on her black coat. She is spayed and microchipped. Ophie’s foster family has nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She is very sweet, calm tempered, loves people, does wonderfully in public places, sleeps through the night, is house broken, has great house manners (no chewing things she shouldn’t, okay to be left alone for a few hours), is not barky, loves lounging and snuggling with you on the couch, loves to play with toys, and gets along with all of the dogs in her foster home. She is submissive toward dogs when first meeting them and is respectful of their boundaries. She previously lived with kids in her previous home and is very loving toward any kids that she meets. The only things that she needs some work on is barking at other dogs she sees on walks, begging for people food (though she does listen to leave it and will give up and stop begging after a minute or so), she can play rough with smaller dogs (she doesn’t realize how big and strong she is!) and she does like to chase cats and would probably be better in a home without them. Ophie is such a special girl and deserves an amazing forever home that will give her tons of love and attention. When she’s happy her tail hits the wall so hard you think she might put a hole in it! She would do fine living with other larger dogs or as an only dog. She would make a wonderful dog for almost any family. Story
Meet Zeus💜 When an Adogs staff visited Korean city Shelter, Zeus was hiding behind another dog with wagging his tail. He's calm and quiet! He waits calmly in his crate, and he doesn't bark. He's not afraid of people's touch, but he's still very awkward with them! He's a gentle boy and never nips! 🥰 He gets along well with other dogs at the Adogs Center, but he's not very interested in them.🤣 * Health record: He is missing his left ear congenitally, but it doesn’t affect his hearing at all! * Finished heartworm treatment. (Retest is needed)

Story
ADOPT Yago! He is a goofy 12 month old 65 lb Catahoula/Lab mix. He will make you laugh everyday with his silly antics. 🤡 He is a busy boy and a working breed so will definitely need another dog 🐶 to play with or a family who will keep him busy. Yago is still very much a puppy so needs to learn how to walk well on a leash. Daily walks with the right tools and he will learn in no time! Yago tested well with a cat but has never lived with one. 😺 We suggest older children due to his size and high energy. 🏃 Yago is crate trained and just about housebroken. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, Heartworm and Lyme tested. 🍀 Yago will be walking in the mile walk/run this Sunday for our St Patty's Day Newburgh Brewery event. Fill out the application and you can meet him then! APPLICATION: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSftnYfej0sD5YBq6NfW_bV4VvpZh9StksaZPH4XkxxUTyySkg/viewform
