Meet Huck! Huck is a handsome young guy who is under a year old and weighs about 27 pounds. Our best guess is that there may be some Bluetick Coonhound and Heeler in his family tree — but whatever the mix, it certainly gave him one beautiful speckled coat! Huck came to us with his brother, Finn, and while the boys look quite a bit alike, their personalities are already beginning to set them apart. Huck was the slightly more laid-back of the two during his photo session. He was sweet, affectionate and very happy to soak up plenty of attention and love. He's still a youngster with plenty of puppy life ahead of him, but he seems to have a nice softer side to go along with it.Like any young dog, Huck will benefit from continued guidance and training as he settles into family life. He's ready for someone to show him just how good life in a home can be — preferably with plenty of love included! If this sweet speckled boy looks like your kind of companion, come meet Huck! This 2–3-year-old English Setter/Bluetick Coonhound mix is built a little more like a mini horse—but he'd still be perfectly happy trying to climb into your lap!Despite his size at 66 lbs, Tater is an incredibly gentle guy. At his photo session, he impressed everyone with his calm, sweet nature and how nicely he walked on leash. He absolutely loved soaking up attention and affection, and his goofy personality quickly had everyone smiling.Tater seems young at heart, with nice teeth and plenty of silly charm, but he wasn't wild or overwhelming. Instead, he came across as an easygoing, affectionate dog who simply enjoys being close to his people.And just look at that coat! His gorgeous blue-speckled coloring makes him hard to miss, but it's his gentle personality that really wins you over.If you're looking for a big, goofy, sweet-natured companion who may occasionally forget just how big he is, come meet Tater.
