Story
Bessie has gotten really big and needs a family that can take her outside more often and for longer walks than my work schedule allows. She loves dogs and won’t attack cats. She doesn’t bark often and doesn’t howl. She is a great dog but I am just unable to give her the exercise she needs.

Story
Hi, I’m Dulce! I’m a 4-month-old, 16 lb. female Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, and I may be young, but I already have quite the story to tell. Not long ago, my siblings and I were sitting in a shelter in California with only 24 hours left to live. We were scheduled to be euthanized, but thankfully, The Asher House heard about us and stepped in just in time. We were saved, brought to safety, and given the chance at a future we almost didn’t have. But our fight wasn’t over yet. After arriving, every single puppy in my group became sick with parvo. We were incredibly ill and needed to be hospitalized so we could receive the intensive medical care we needed. It was a scary start to our new lives, but we were surrounded by people who fought right alongside us and made sure we had every opportunity to get better. And we did! I’m now fully recovered, feeling so much better, and finally getting to enjoy what being a puppy is supposed to be all about—playing, exploring, making friends, and soaking up all the love and attention I can get! I’m dog, cat, and kid friendly, and at only 4 months old, I have so much growing and learning ahead of me. I’ll need a family who is ready to continue teaching me all the important puppy basics, like potty training, leash walking, socialization, and good manners. I came so close to never getting the opportunity to grow up. Now I have my whole life ahead of me, and I’m ready to make every moment count. All I need now is a forever family to share it with. My adoption fee is $495 and I have my age-appropriate vaccines and am microchipped. Apply to meet me today!
