Meet Howie. Howie is a gentle Papillon and Pomeranian mix with the sweetest disposition. He is calm, affectionate, and incredibly easy to love. He has limited vision from a previous car accident, so he moves thoughtfully and takes in his surroundings in his own way. Even so, he settles in quickly and feels comfortable almost immediately. He trusts people easily and has a naturally steady temperament. Howie is great with kids and does well with cats. He enjoys being part of a family and adapts beautifully to the rhythm of a home. He is happy to curl up in your lap, but he is just as content relaxing on his own. He loves being outside in the sunshine and rolling around in the grass. Give him a cozy spot and a little consistency, and he is completely at peace. He is gentle. He is easygoing. He is ready for his forever home. Could that be with you? What’s tiny, curly, and as cute as can be? It’s Sadie! Sadie was owner-surrendered to SNIPSA with three other dogs from the same home. While we don’t know much about their previous home life, we do know that Sadie needs a patient hand. This girl is overcoming her fears day by day–she clearly experienced some trauma in her past. But despite arriving a little “ruff” and rattled, her snuggly personality really shines in a calm environment. Sadie is a Poodle/Schnauzer mix, and she is fully grown at around a year and a half. Poodle/Schnauzer mixes are intelligent, playful, and affectionate dogs, known for being friendly with families and other dogs. These breeds are famous for their low-shedding coats, but consistent brushing and grooming will be needed to help prevent tangles and matting. If you’d like to give Sadie the love and patience she has been searching for, apply to meet her. She will make the sweetest, most grateful companion.
