Meet Salem! He is a GORGEOUS 10-week old, male, kitten. Salem has short silky, shimmery fur and beautiful hazel eyes. He is not a Bombay, but looks very similar and will have a body shape that is lean and lithe. He is so friendly and affectionate and will immediately start purring the minute you pet him. He is definitely a cuddle bug! He would be happy to be adopted on his own or be a wonderful addition to an existing fur-family. Salem is an orphan whose Momma was hit by a car. But, after joining a different litter of kittens he has adjusted well. All of our kittens are looking for a loving, safe, and forever home. They are afforded lots of room to play and socialize with their siblings. They are currently being fostered by a loving family with children. They are also very affectionate as they’ve been constantly held, handled, and loved since they were first rescued. All of the kittens are healthy, vaccinated, and were spayed/neutered on 6/30/2022. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Darcy's sweet nature is immediately apparent; he's the type of cat who will greet you with a friendly meow and a purr. Addie is 6 years old, we adopted her as a kitten. She is a loving cat and is skittish with new people and situations. She needs someone patient who will allow her time to warm up. Once she does, she’s very cuddly and sweet. Addie would do well in a home without other pets, but she does well with children. Her new home would need to provide feather fliers (her favorite) and some hiding spots that she can retreat to when she needs a break. She loves soft blankets and cuddling up with her favorite people.

Neighbors moved abruptly and left the cat. They said he was feral and were unable to take him but he is fixed and he , with time, has allowed us (family) to pet him and he will come indoors. We have a male cat who is extremely aggressive. Viking is outside in an area of high coyote activity. I think his hearing is bad and he is unable to fend for himself. He is very loving once you gain his trust.

Canelo was found living under a tool shed on a school campus in El Cajon. He’s staying with us until we can find him a forever home with loving people. He loves to take naps, play with toys and run around and have the zoomies sometimes. He used to be an indoor/outdoor cat, but he’s grown accustomed to being indoors. He’s also litter box trained. He’s very sweet and easy to take care of!
