His story: a mama cat was found roaming the streets in Garden Grove, where there are 1000’s of homeless cats. She gave birth to 4 kittens in a backyard and the family contacted us for help, but mom cat took off with the kittens and couldn’t be found. Luckily she showed up about a month later when the kittens were 4 weeks old.BlackBerry is very sweet, loving and friendly, he enjoys lounging around and getting attention from people. He likes to play on cat trees, chase his siblings and other kitties. He loves climbing up cat trees, looking out windows, and playing with all kinds of toys. He comes to you for attention and will lay by your feet for pets, rub up against your legs. He enjoys sleeping on beds and cuddling with people and other cats. He does very well meeting new kitties and is use to small cat friendly dogs.BlackBerry must be adopted to a home that already has a cat that is three years old or younger. He cannot be an only pet. He would do better with a Kitty companion. Approximately 7-8 years oldNeutered and had shotsGreen eyed, white and grey retired colony boss. Lived on the streets his whole life, but ready for a comfortable loving home. Would prefer to be your one and only, though would do well with a submissive companion. Still has the boss mentality, so not good with other strong personalities. He lived in a colony we feed in Oxnard, but ended up getting sick during the rains. The vet said he has some anemia, so he gets extra red meat. Not currently on any medications. After he felt better we took him back to the colony, but he doesn't want to live on the streets anymore so we are trying to find him a home.Loves a comfy chair, cat beds/towers, fresh air, and the sound of the fridge door opening. Not too picky with food and will try to share your food with himself (if you let him). A very sweet boy who would love to steal your heart and eat all the treats and snacks he can find.

Let me just say that Romes is the best and it kills me to let him go! I have never seen such a warm, emotional animal like my boy. He is playful, VERY loving and just wants you by his side all the time. He was a little kitten when I rescued him from an Orange County shelter. He is a 7 year old angel now. We NEED him to go to a loving home. Nothing less than a true animal lover will do. He will make anyone’s life better. He’ll be there to make you feel better when you are feeling down and he will be there to share in the good times.
