Story
Hi everyone my names Bast, and I'm looking for my furever home! I recently moved in with my foster parent and am flourishing in an environment that's all my own. I like taking long walks from the window to my food bowl, which I do frequently throughout the day. When I'm not at my window protecting my new home from invaders, AKA birds, I am on my foster moms lap (or anyones lap for that matter) getting all the pets. I'm a chatty gal because there's simply so many things to discuss! I'm so excited to meet you!

Story
My partner and I recently took in Brad and his sister Janet from our neighborhood in Los Feliz since last Thursday. They're truly delightful kittens. However, we have two older cats that are struggling to adjust to their presence, making our living situation challenging. We're actively seeking a foster or permanent home for these two playful and incredibly affectionate kittens. They are truly special and so sweet!

Story
DOB:10/15/22 Stanley is like the softest and sweetest panther you'll ever meet! Even though at first he can be a little shy, when he warms up to you he is super snuggly and playful! He can be a lap kitty once he feels a strong connection with you and he'll even give you kisses! He also adores snuggling up to other kitties and gives them baths. When you play with him with string toys he goes crazy chasing them and you can see his panther-like agility come to life! He also enjoys playing with catnip filled toys and pretty much anything that moves. He is not a picky eater and lights up for all kinds of treats! My partner and I used to visit his street cat colony sometimes and every time we did he would be the first to go on our lap and lick/nibble our hands. He would also cuddle with his siblings on our lap, bathe them and fall asleep. When the area he lived in became very dangerous he was very grateful to move into a home with consistent meals and affections. Now he is healthy and ready for a forever home! If you are interested in learning more about this kitty or in adopting him, please click here to email his foster parent. If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. Story
This gorgeous House Panther was born in May of 2011, in the attic of a home in Sherman Oaks, CA. He and his brothers were only around 4 or 5 weeks-old, at the time. They had fallen through the attic floor and landed behind a wall in the living room! The homeowners ended up cutting an opening in the wall to get them out! We do know his Mama was a feral, Siamese Snow Shoe (short-haired) and he has some of the classic Sia features. Although Abbott received the same amount of socialization and play time, as his brothers, he never fully tamed and remained on the shy, scared side. When it comes to the other male cats, in the house however, Abbott is probably the most popular... always in the center of the attention. All the others love to play, wrestle, cuddle and sleep with Abbott! This handsome fella is playful, smart, and affectionate with a coat that's shiny like silk. His build is lean and muscular. Abbott can be social around his favorite human (me) and will hop up onto the bed to play with stringy toys. Once he gets going, he plays with complete abandon. His weakness is freeze-dried Chicken treats and will gently eat them from your finger tips or even your lips. But if he thinks you're going to touch or pick him up he may run. He knows his name and communicates like any other cat - that's connected to a human... except in the areas of touch. Please... won't you give this deserving boy a loving home? He'd make an excellent companion for another friendly, playful, young male (or two). *The video uploaded was shot when he was still a young kitten... but you can see how sweet and gentle he is. Abbott's adoption will include his: * Neuter, * De-worming, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination, * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * and Micro chipping! *You can also find his complete rescue story, photo and video updates on our Facebook page: Save The Leadwell Kitties (or type in "2TheResQ" in the search bar). Please only contact us if you will be making him a permanent members of your family and will be keeping Abbott SAFE INDOORS. ~ $100. adoption fee for Abbott. Adoption contract and home check apply ~ Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!!

Story
Meet EOS, one handsome, sweet, affectionate, and highly-social boy - with a thick, lush, black coat and round, amber eyes (depending on the light).... with many of the hallmarks of the Bombay breed. This boy LOVES to cuddle with his favorite humans and fellow feline companions, equally. He spends his play time chasing the track ball, toy mouse or anything on a string or with a feather. He's still very-much a kitten and would do best in a home with at least one, other, young/youngish feline companion. Sometimes, the way EOS looks at you, it's as if he's a wise, old soul. EOS's adoption will include his: * Neuter, * De-worming, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination, * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * and Micro chipping! ~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~ * Please only contact us if you'll be making EOS a permanent member of your household and will be keeping him safe indoors. ** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair! *** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates). Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!

Story
Found a litter of 3 kittens back last May, they were about 2 weeks at that time at my work parking lot in Cerritos. I rescued them and thankfully I was able to catch the mom the following day. They have been with me ever since and I am looking for their forever home for the 3 kitten and the mom. Moon's personality: Moon is social, sweet, delicate as he freaks out easily, and he loves to explore. He should be a food critic because he likes to try all kinds of human food (of course I let him only try the cat friendly food.

Story
Vader is approximately 14 years old. I adopted him about 1 year ago but doesn't get along with our dog. I think it would be best for him to be in a place he feels more comfortable. He is a self sufficient cat and is pretty easy going. He sleeps a lot in a ground level house and uses a cat tree every now and again. Once he is comfortable with you he likes to talk to you often. He would make a great addition to someone's home.

Story
Date of Birth: 6/2/2020 Scarlett and Carpet are very bonded. We got a request for help from someone trying to help two teenage girls that are desperately looking for help. This is what we were told: "There are 13 cats that live in the back of their apartment building. These cats are loving, kind, super friendly with them (I went and met them as well and they were kind with me) They have TNR' d the colony, however there are neighbors upstairs that constantly abuse the cats. They kick them, throw rocks at them, spray water, and so forth. These girls are desperate for these cats to have a better life and I told them I would do everything in my power to assist them." This is where Scarlett and Carpet came from. They deserve a better life, Can someone help make this a very special holiday for both of them? If you are interested in adopting from Cat Posse, please visit our website, www.catposse.org and fill out our application on this page https://www.catposse.org/adoption. Below, under our The Nature Network CONTACT INFO you can find a “DONATION” link. We are deeply grateful for help. To meet us, help us, or if you know people or businesses who would like to, please contact us at: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our PayPal Giving email address for donation and sponsorship). Mailing: The Nature Network Inc., 3826 Grand View Blvd., #66790, Los Angeles, CA 90066. We are not like many larger non-profits who use up to 90% of all funds on expensive advertising, enormous salaries, social media, and human expenses. Our veterinary references are available upon request. DIANA came to us because she used to "guard" people's purses and sweaters at her former mom's home and place of business. Visitors were a little afraid of her, and there was the idea that business could begin to slow down because of the guard-cat guarding the home :o) Diana doesn't care much for people touching her in any way or trying to moving her around, is very independent, and doesn't like being forced to do stuff she doesn't want to do, sometimes taking a bit of a bite out of folks' hands, very antisocial. However, Diana was declawed by her former owner, and this is the change that occurred afterwards. She was never the same after that. We think this is her revenge--and can you blame her? Diana is spayed and healthy. To meet Diana, please email theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our Paypal address for donation and sponsorship).

We are not like many larger non-profits who use up to 90% of all funds on expensive advertising, enormous salaries, social media, and human expenses. Our veterinary references are available upon request. We rescued BELINDA from immediate death at the pound. She is a beautiful (not purebred) small black Burmese/Siamese-looking kitty who was abandoned by her owners and ended up in the pound, a mere shadow of herself. She was thin, had a cold, and the runs, and she made pitiful "meows" when we first met her. Belinda had been inside the back room at the shelter where they are euthanized, but was taken out through the pleas of a kindly shelter volunteer while we stood by to receive her. When no one had adopted her after another week went by (she looked so sad and thin), she was only one hour away from her second and final trip to the back room. That is when we rushed over to get her because of the emails her savior sent us. We also saved an emaciated small white Shepherd/Shiba Inu pup that day, who had also been taken out at her last moment, who also was to go back in for her final trip that same day. Belinda is now spayed, getting healthy, and hopefully soon back to her normal weight. We have bathed and groomed her and taken good care of her, and her faith in the kindness of humans is restored. To meet or help Belinda, please contact: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com . (Also our PayPal Giving donation email address)

Our veterinary references are available upon request. SPOTS recently developed kidney issues. She just received her first IV fluids and may be needing them intermittently. Spots is a sweet girl with beautiful green, curious eyes and delightful black and white "reverse" tuxedo markings. She has always lived indoors and enjoys watching the other animals and birds from the comfort of her favorite window seat. Spots is a VERY affectionate cat. She expects a few face rubs as soon as you wake up in the morning and would love a nice rub down when you return home. She loves to be brushed and even likes the occasional belly rub. She loves to lie on your legs or lap and is an overall snuggle queen. Spots is obedient and will respond to the commands "stop," "sit," and "no" (when she wants to). She’s a little shy around strangers but will warm up to someone pretty quickly. When it comes to playtime, Spots enjoys laser lights against a wall, balloon string, feather toys and socks. She also likes to strike a pose for the camera. She definitely knows when she's being photographed. Spots is best as an only cat with a woman or man who works at home or has a flexible schedule. When she's alone she likes to sleep on your shoes or on her scratching post and wait for your return. She loves to be around her human, she likes to listen to stories and would feel safe and pampered in a low-key household. Spots has always lived indoors--so INDOOR ONLY, but now special needs with kidney issues. To meet Spots, please contact: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our PayPal address for donations and sponsorship).
