Bought for my kids, roughly in May of 2009. He is neutered. My sons are all grown up and out of the house and I myself am allergic along w/grandson, whose 5 yrs old & also very allergic.Our cats' name is Cha Cho (short for Muchacho-meaning boy in Spanish), but he grew up in an English-speaking household.He did get diabetes a little over a yr ago and quickly went into remission with a healthier diet. He no longer shows signs of diabetes. We bought a house in May and he has since been enjoying sitting on the front porch to take in fresh air and getting a little exercise running/walking around the house from one door to the other. He was on prescription food- Purina for the diabetes for a good few months but since then enjoys a combo of wet/dry food of Purina for breakfast and dinner. Along w/ occasional can of tuna. We will deeply miss our cat friend of many years and hope he goes to a good home that will enjoy his company and companionship.

An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats).  A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are not put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
