Story
Please meet Cole. This very friendly and loving fella loves to play. He is black with a white patch under his chin and 3 white toes on his back left foot. After a play session all he wants is some affection and to lay on your lap for a nap. He was born in March of 2024. He has been neutered & is up to date on his vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Meet Sable ("Sabie"), an incredibly sweet, velvet-furred, fully vaccinated 3-year-old Bombay mix who is ready to be your one-and-only. Sable is a deeply loving, low-maintenance cat who is quietly devoted. She'll sleep through the night at your feet, follow you like a gentle shadow, and meow back when you call her name. Bottom Line: Sable must be the ONLY pet in the home to truly thrive. This is a heartbreaking decision. After 1.5 years of trying, we've learned this sensitive soul becomes anxious and withdrawn around other pets. She is never aggressive, just unsettled. We are committed to finding her a calm, safe place. //The 411// - soft: Incredibly soft, black velvet fur that's a joy to pet - loving shadow: Follows you gently and sleeps quietly all night, zzzzz - food motivated: Slowly warms up to guests and is easily won over with treats. She likes the human animal, but not other animals and is surprisingly social around human friends - low maintenance: Cuddles & food! Yay!

Story
Squish is a 5-month-old black kitten with a lot of love to give and a little extra character. He’s blind in one eye due to corneal scarring—it’s permanent, doesn’t need treatment, and doesn’t bother him at all. He gets around just fine and lives a totally normal kitten life. He’s super affectionate and wants attention from everyone—people, cats, dogs, whoever’s available. He’ll rub up on you (and everything else) just to remind you he’s there and would like some pets, please and thank you. He can get a little intense about affection when he’s excited, but it’s all in good fun. Because of his vision, he sometimes gets startled or a little growly if something surprises him—his depth perception is off, so things can catch him off guard. But he’s never aggressive, just momentarily unsure. He recovers quickly and goes right back to being a sweet, wiggly little guy. He gets along well with other cats and dogs and would do great in a home that understands he’s figuring things out in his own way. He’s a genuinely good kitten who just wants someone to love on him as much as he wants to love on them.

Story
Please meet our 4 ADVENTURERS!: MARCO, MARCELLO, PAOLA and NICCOLA! This 91 year old feline gang was rescued from the backyard of a commercial building, adventuring around and trying to survive without their mother. Their intake was just precious and since then these 4 kids taking over their rescue space, exploring their new but safe environment and taking it day by day - like every day is a new adventure. They are beautiful and true feline treasures with hidden affectionate souls to start with, showing more and more their happiness and trust in their new life inside. It seems that some have already chosen their partner in crime - MARCO (Black Bombay, 1rst picture) wrestling with MARCELLO - 2nd picture - forming the ultimate brotherhood, leaping around and chasing after each other in a playful manner. It's amazing how MARCO developed from a shy boy to the "leader of teh gang" - always ready for some mishevious moves.. MARCELLO is also a bundle of energy, always vocally announcing that he is ready' whatever fun time is coming up. He rubs against his foster parent seeking for attention and of course when the treat bags shaking - super cute!. NICCOLA - 4rth picture - is the more laied back part of this gang - often found playing and especially snuggling with her sister Paola but also seeking feline luv with the residential older cats. Please see more pictures and video's of the girls at: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/37855168-new-york-new-york-cat So we are still watching closely whom they prefer to spend their feline siblinghood for life but we are also open to adopt at least Niccola to a loving home with a residential cat friendly feline soul in place. They are already altered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, tested FELV/FIV negative and are rmicrochipped. COME and FALL in LOVE with these beautiful adventurers! and check out our website for more adorable kitties looking for a forever home: https://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/84295-east-harlem-kitty-rescue-new-york-new-york#featured

Story
She was born in early August. Both of her parents are black bombays. She is a tiny kitten compared to the rest of her litter because she’s scared of everything. She’s such a cutie and gets along well with the rest of her litter and she’s attached to her mommy. She’s very playful, likes to explore and is shy. Hasn’t seen a vet yet and there aren’t any indications of bad health. She’s getting better at human contact.

Story
Hildy and Adelaide are a beloved bonded pair. Not sisters but sure look and act like it! Due to housing insecurity, their owners had to last minute relocate and were unable to bring the two cats with them. They are housed with family but are not getting along with the other cats in the household. They are cuddle bugs, house trained, love churu and greenies, and are very talkative! Hildy is the sweetest, a polydactyl dilute calico. Adelaide is a little ball of electricity! Hildy is 6 and Adelaide is 4. It is heartbreaking to part with them and all we want is for them to find a good home.
