Story
We adopted this beautiful black cat and he is the sweetest thing ever almost dog like. Loves to cuddle and loves to be petted. Very good with kids and is extremely gentle. The only reason we have to rehome is because my daughter is extremely allergic to him. We have lots of supplies with him for whoever would like to adopt him. Would be great for a family because he is so gentle. Doesn't jump on many things just wants to snuggle.

Honey Bear is available with his sister Ramona. We weren't sure if they would lose their eyes but their foster did a great job with their medications. As most of you know the corneal scarring does not hold them back at all. To meet them, please apply at https://linktr.ee/nyctfa

Story
healthy Say hello to Frank Black! This gorgeous, loving, playful, easygoing kitty is so much fun to have around! When he wants to play, he will flop over on the rug to show you his belly. Frank especially loves mouse toys and string toys. When he’s feeling cuddly, he will curl up next to you or on your chest and maybe even give you kisses. Frank loves just being near women. He is super smart and he loves to learn new tricks in exchange for treats. Frank loves to play and hang out with his foster, but he's also happy to do his own thing. Sadly, we believe Frank was abused by a man in his past because the minute a man walks into the room he becomes stressed. He is looking for a No Boys Allowed home where he can relax with no fear of abuse. Watch the video to see how he is when he's done playing:   https://youtu.be/Ha8PQpDiApA Once he gets to know you, Frank Black loves to lie on top of you or sit next to you. He loves being with his women friends, but he's also independent and not a "Velcro" kitty who will stick to you all day! He's the perfect combo of friendly, affectionate and not too demanding.  Frank Black is about 4 years old - he is neutered, microchipped, tested fiv-/felv-, and up to date on his vaccines. If you would like to schedule a meet & greet with this sweet boy, please go to our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you click on Frank Black: Cuddly & Playful but No Boys Allowed, then identify Claire as the RESCUER and fill out the form! Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Story
Say hello to Pickle, an adorable kitten with a spunky spirit and a heart full of playfulness. Sporting medium-length fur and mesmerizing yellow eyes, Pickle is a Bombay mix who's as soft as she is spirited. This little lady thrives on love and attention, always eager to cuddle up for some affection, whether she's purring and nuzzling your face or curling up for a nap by your pillow. Pickle's energy shines through during playtime, where she delights in chasing after strings, pouncing on cat teaser toys, and hunting elusive laser dots. She's a natural entertainer, often initiating friendly play fights and showing off her agility as she zooms around the room. Not just content with toys, Pickle has a quirky habit of carrying objects around in her mouth, always looking for an exciting new place to play. She's especially fond of playing with her foster siblings, eagerly joining in on their tail-chasing escapades and forming strong bonds. If you're searching for a furry friend who's equal parts playful and affectionate, consider welcoming Pickle into your home. With her winning personality and charming antics, she's sure to bring joy and laughter to your days. Because of her age and energy level, Pickle must go to a home with another young, active cat to keep her company during playtime and cozy naps. Sweet Pickle is about 6 months old. She is spayed, has tested fiv-/felv-, is up to date on vaccines, has been treated for parasites and is ready for a wonderful furrever home with another young kitty! If you're interested in meeting this adorable kitten, fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you click on Pickle and identify Claire as the RESCUER when you fill out the form!   Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.
