Story
HI! My name is Abby. I am a sweet but scared girl who needs time to adjust in a home. I am a senior and need a home to enjoy the rest of my life I have. Once I am use to things, I will be your lap cat and friend. I do fine being picked up. I do fine with other cats and with kids as long as they treat me right. I do not know how I am with dogs. I really want to be your best friend so please choose me.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

Story
We got kiko when he was a kitten. He was always so nice and playful, unfortunately as time went on he would start to have behavioral issues around other cats. He is always super sweet around new strangers and is never hostile or feels threatened. Unfortunately he cannot stay at my current residence because he hasn’t been able to get along with his other cat friend. I just want to be able to help find me a safe and comforting household with a loving owner to show love to him everyday.

Story
Leo is an old man who has a quiet scratchy chirp for a voice. He is hard of hearing and limited vision in one eye. He has been a stray growing up in an apartment complex where he has been bullied by other cats and likely was hit by a car when he was a kitten. He walks with a limp and has one good eye. He had an infection as a kitten that wasn’t treated so unfortunately he lost vision in one eye because of that. He is litter box trained but would need time to decompress and adjust to life inside. He is friendly either his caretakers but not trusting of other animals. He is an old man that just needs a place to retire and rest. He loves windows and would love a covered enclosed catio. He would do best in a home with no children and no cats or dogs. He needs a retirement home. He just needs a safe quiet clean place with a gentle voice, little pats here & there, not too much fuss, and a cozy spots to sleep.

Story
Courtesy Post for owner: Jiji is a sweet, gentle girl who is very laid back but fun loving as she is still a big kitten. She is curious and very smart. She lives with a big dog and a little dog but did live with other another cat. She currently lives with a lady and 2 gentle and kind teenage boys. She would do best in a quiet home with no small kids. She is house trained, has received her first shots and was spayed. If you are interested in a meet and greet contact us and we will get you in touch with the current owner. All of our volunteers have full time jobs so we will call you as soon as we are able to. 🙂

Story
We adopted Moonie (formerly Esther Price) from the Humane Society as a companion for our playful older cat. Unfortunately our cat has not adjusted to her companion and the two can hardly be in the same area together. Moonie is 12 years old and very sweet. She loves pets and scratches, but currently spends the majority of her time hiding from our cat. She does not care to be picked up, but loooves to be pet. It's uncertain if she would do well with other cats (she came from a home with another cat) or dogs. She does really well with elementary aged kids.
