Bombay kittens & cats in Piqua, Ohio

Hi! I'm Hex, the superhero kitten with a tale of adventure. One day, while exploring a bustling city alley, I used my 'super whiskers' to save a bunch of tiny critters from a maze of boxes. After our little rescue mission, a kind gentleman found me and brought me here to Paws Animal Shelter. I love to play and explore, always on the lookout for my next big adventure. I'm sweet, friendly, curious, and gentle, making me the perfect sidekick. Looking for a hero? Adopt me, and let's start our own story!Note from Paws humans: We really don't know anything about Hex's background, except that he was found in Springfield, so we'll have to accept his story.  He's a super sweet, playful and loving kitten, who does seem like he's always up for an adventure! Hi, I'm Echo, a sweet and friendly cat who loves gentle pets and scratches. I enjoy the simple pleasures of life, like a good nap in the sun and the soft jingle of my toy ball.  I've gone through some rough times, but I adjusted and am doing fine now.  I'm looking for a forever home where I can share my affection and companionship. If you're looking for a calm, loving friend, I'm the perfect match. Let's create our cozy corner in this big world together.Note from Paws humans: Echo came to us when his owner became homeless and was thus unable to care for him.  He had been with the man for nine years, so he was understandably confused at finding himself in an animal shelter with a number of other cats.  We're a free-roaming shelter, and once cats have been in a room for a few days we open the cage so they can come and go as they please.  Echo spent the first few weeks in his room (the Kool Katz room) on top of the big cage where he could see everything that was happening and still feel safe.  As he has adjusted he's now coming down and sleeping on the cat trees like his roommates.  Even when he was hanging out on top of the cage, he loved it when we would climb on a chair and pet him.  He'd come over right away for some loving.  He's a very sweet boy who just wants a forever home.  To apply to adopt any of our cats or kittens, please visit our website and fill out our on-line application at https://www.pawsurbana.org/apply-to-adopt.

Pickles 🐈‍⬛ She is funny, always greets with a chirp, brings socks to the door if she misses you, loves paper bags to sprint into and hide in, chases a treat, has big green eyes, gets along with gentle children , has had dogs and cat companions and done very well. LOVES CUDDLES. Thrives with access to a window and a good sunning spot.Special care: 100% INDOOR CAT! She needs free and clear litter to avoid a rash, eats a specific food, use of a special shampoo and a bath every few months has given her achieve healthy skin and coat (she weirdly doesn’t mind water, so helpful with bathing 😅) is also tolerant of clipping her claws which is nice!I am deeply saddened that my journey with Pickles has been a turbulent one knowing I cannot give her the life she deserves. I know there is a good fit out there! Thank you for your time!

We adopted Helly as a kitten in March 2026. She is solid black with just a few white hairs on one tiny spot on her tail. She is extremely petite with a tiny little face and body and a somewhat short tail, I've never seen another cat like her. She is extremely cuddly once she warms up to you. Helly is bonded with our young male cat who is also listed for adoption, Grimmy. We strongly prefer that they be adopted together. They are both fully vaccinated, neutered/spayed, and have full documentation of all vet visits. Grimmy is chipped, Helly is not. They love our 9-year-old autistic son, and are not at all bothered by his often loud vocalizing, heavy footsteps, etc. These are amazing, well-mannered, pampered cats who are accustomed to being well taken care of. We intend to live in a camper full time for up to a year and it isn't practical or fair to them to try to make that work. We are determined that they go to a home that will love and care for them as they're used to.
