Bombay kittens & cats in Ephrata, Pennsylvania

Oliver is a 3 year old neutered male cat. He was rescued from a trailer at my job. He has a calm, gentle personality and often enjoys relaxing on his own, laying down somewhere comfortable. He also likes to check up on his person, and he can be vocal when he wants attention or affection. He has been around kids and is gentle. My goal is to find him a safe, caring home.

I got my cats from a friend of mine. I got them when I used to live at home with my parents and they were 4-6 weeks at the time. I’m guessing that they are now between 6-7 months. Healthy and well trained.

Scott is five years young, ridiculously soft, and fully aware of it. His signature move is hopping up onto your shoulders and turning himself into a luxurious living scarf. He’s a professional purr machine, a biscuit maker, and a cat who is absolutely obsessed with his humans. If you’re looking for a constant companion rather than a “occasional cuddler,” Scott is your guy. Scott is happiest when he can be near his people and involved in daily life. He thrives on affection and reassurance. In calmer environments, Scott has shown tolerance of other animals after very slow introductions, but he is not looking for animal friendships. Recent experience has made it clear that he would do best in a home without dogs, and ideally as the only pet, or in a very quiet household where he can have his space to acclimate. He uses his litter box reliably, doesn’t get into things he shouldn’t, and tolerates handling like nail trims and nail caps with ease. Hi my name is Ozzy! I am a very social, affectionate, interactive companion and I love to play a lot. I am 5 years old. I am a Bombay/domestic short fur black mix cat. The Bombay is a highly social breed that loves to be in the company of others. They love being with people! The Bombay breed is intelligent, playful, and attention-seeking. I love catnip toys, strings, and even tennis ball to bounce around. I am also a taker and with a bag of treats you can teach me lots of good things. My foster mom says I am very very smart, and purr very loud. Sometimes you can hear me purring even being in another room. I am a cat with a huge personality I love to be involved into everything you do in the house. I help my foster mom to write emails, post pictures of me, walk all over the keyboard. During a day you can find me catching sun on the sunny windowsill, I love bathing in the Sun and always lay on the sunniest window sill in the house. I have a very soft, plushy black fur and one white spot on a side of my body that looks like letter Z. I am muscular, medium-size cat and quite agile. As a Bombay cat: Ozzy loves people. Adaptable: While some cats struggle with change, black cats tend to quickly adapt to whatever circumstances they are dealt. Aware: Black cats seem to walk a line- they tend to be more calm and reserved than some other cats, yet they balance that by staying playful and active throughout their lives. They relish new toys, found objects, and are talented at entertaining themselves for hours (and napping for hours thereafter). The types of games they create and the ones they enjoy engaging in often involve others-people, cats, dogs, etc., and tend to be more complex, such as games of fetch and tag. Smart: In a final word, black cats are smart. They are savvy to things going on around them, and highly responsive and capable of handling change, throughout which, they remain calm, loving, energetic companions. ***SPECIAL:MEDICAL NEEDS REHOME*** Vixen is a sweet and timid senior lady. She is experiencing some severe medical issues and we are unable financially afford the care she needs. We also have a male black shorthair with ongoing medical issues I have a separate posting for. Hoping to find a rescue or someone who can offer them the best medial care.

Shadow showed up on my daughter’s porch. Her and her husband do TNR and neighbors know it. This beautiful regal lady was way too friendly to be a feral. But they caught her right away and took her to be neutered and her shots. Daughter and husband have three cats already so I offered to foster her until we find a furever home for her. I was hoping it would have been with me, I think she is about a year old….still has a lot of playing to do. Oh, and she is very inquisitive about everything! I have adopted a 7 year old lady recently and Shadow is just too much for her. I have had to separate them, doing room swapping. My little girl is afraid of Shadow. 😞 It has become urgent to rehome her now due to my medical issues and upcoming surgeries.
