He gets the zoomies often, but when he’s ready to relax, he loves curling up and sleeping right on your chest. He’s great with his litter box and has never had an accident in the house! Important: He needs a new home as soon as possible, ideally within the next week. He is not a good fit for households with children under 5, so he needs a home where his boundaries will be respected. Mama Dove is full of love. She is a snuggler but takes a while to gain trust. She is skittish around any sort of movement or loud noises but once she gets to know you, all she wants to do is sit in your lap and get head scratches. She does not like to be picked up but Mama Dove likes to be held if you’re sitting and she comes up for scratches. She will likely take around a month to get used to you and will hide for most of the time in the beginning. But if you can keep her in a small area to start and sit quietly in the room or on the floor with them, and give them treats, she will begin to trust you. Critter came into our care in rough shape as he had been recently dumped an established Colony and the resident cats were not so welcoming. Upon intake he had beat up ears and missing fur but he's doing so much better now and all his fur has grown back and his ears are doing better too. He's very outgoing, playful and chatty he'll follow you around the house like a little shadow, though he can be a bit of a tripping hazard for individuals with mobility issues.He's very sweet & gentle with humans and other cats too. He can be a little grumbly early on in introductions with new feline companions, but he's never aggressive without provocation. The key to his heart and introductions are snacks for sure.

Hi, I’m Jack I’ve just entered my senior years, and with age comes extra love and loyalty. I’m a very affectionate boy who truly bonds with my people. I’ll follow you to the bathroom (someone has to keep watch!) and sleep at the foot of your bed every night to make sure you’re safe.I’m happiest as the only cat in the home. Midnight is about 6 years old, she has been indoor-only and is not spayed. She was owned by a recently deceased family member. Midnight is not socialized and cannot be touched or handled by people, but she does seem to get along with her sister Blue (who we are also trying to rehome). Apologies for the low quality pictures, these were taken while she was in heat earlier this year because she is usually in hiding (she is the set of eyes on the right in picture showing two cats under a bed). There are some behavioral problems in terms of spraying and growling/hissing, but we think this could be due to her not being fixed and not having consistent interaction with people. She is litter box trained however. We know for sure she *does not* have fleas or worms, but we do not know what/if any shots she has had or if she has ever seen a vet. We believe she can be rehabilitated with some gentle attention and care, and ideally it would be great if she can be rehomed along with her sister.
