Story
Meet Izzy Mae! 🩷 Izzy Mae is a 1–2-year-old, 25-pound pup that we believe may be a Border Collie/Boston Terrier mix. Whatever her breed mix is, one thing is certain—she is absolutely full of love and sweetness. Izzy is a laid-back, easygoing girl who is happy to join in on whatever her family is doing. She loves affection, enjoys playing with other dogs, and always appreciates a good Benebone to chew on. Her favorite thing, though, is simply being near her people. She has the softest, velvety fur and an even softer personality to match. She gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and children of all ages. We haven't found much that bothers her, and she approaches life with a happy, go-with-the-flow attitude. Izzy is potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and has made great progress with crate training. She may have protested a little at first, but she now settles in much more easily. She's also an excellent passenger in the car and will happily curl up for a nap while you drive. Like any young dog, Izzy still has a few things she's working on. If left unsupervised, she may decide that shoes, blankets, or other household items make great chew toys, so keeping appropriate items available and setting her up for success will be important. She also gets very excited to see her favorite people and is learning that greetings are best with all four paws on the floor. And when it comes to other dogs, Izzy assumes everyone wants to be her best friend immediately, so a canine sibling that doesn't mind her enthusiastic lack of personal space would be ideal. One of her sweetest quirks is the way she asks for attention. Izzy will sit patiently and wait, but if you don't notice her, she'll simply scootch a little closer while staying seated, making sure you know she's there. She'll gladly climb into your lap for some extra love, but she's equally happy curling up nearby with a bone or taking an afternoon nap. Izzy Mae would make a wonderful addition to a family with kids, other pets, or anyone looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who is always happy just to be included. She truly is a special little girl with so much love to give. 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. 👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please note: The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled or have been offered to another rescue within our network. Story
Bandit was adopted at 3 months old and is now 7 months. He hates our daughter’s cat, but is overall good with our elderly dogs. He is a bit much for the older dogs at times. He needs a large yard or farm to be able to run around in to wear himself out. Very loving and playful dog. He needs somebody well experienced to train him. He does not bite, but does like to nip where teeth touch but never latches or leaves a mark on the skin.

Story
Meet Mabel! 🐾 Age: 7 months Weight: 40 lbs Breed Guess: Lab/Border Collie mix If you're looking for a happy-go-lucky best friend with endless love to give, Mabel might just be your girl! This sweet, energetic pup loves to play hard, explore the world, and then curl up beside you for a well-earned cuddle session. Mabel is the total package—smart, affectionate, social, and always ready for her next adventure. She absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine buddy to romp around with. Her ideal setup would include a large, physically fenced yard where she can safely burn off some of that puppy energy. One of Mabel's funniest talents? You won't need pest control with this girl around—she proudly considers herself the official spider and bug patrol and will happily take care of any creepy crawlies she finds! 😂 Like any young pup, she's still polishing a few manners. She's working on puppy biting and gets a little jumpy when she's excited, but she's eager to learn and highly motivated by both treats and toys. She already knows sit, lay down, and shake, and her recall is impressive when there aren't major distractions competing for her attention. Mabel is fully house trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She tolerates her crate and happily goes in when a treat is involved. In the car, she's an absolute dream—she loads up on command, rides quietly, and spends her time either watching the world go by or snoozing peacefully. She loves tug-of-war, squeaky toys, bully sticks, and has a hilarious obsession with chasing water from the hose. Her energy level is on the higher side, but with a daily walk and some mental stimulation, she's a very happy girl. Mabel is incredibly friendly with new people and simply wants everyone to be her friend. At the dog park, she may occasionally ask for a little personal space if several dogs approach her at once, but she's not aggressive—just politely communicating that she'd prefer a slower introduction. If you're ready for a loyal, playful, snuggly companion who will keep you laughing and loving every day, Mabel is waiting to meet you! 💕 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. 👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please note: The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled or have been offered to another rescue within our network.
