Story
Although a very timid boy with new people, Doc Hudson has been shown to be very loyal, playful, and affectionate with those he trusts! To see the more outgoing side of this pup, he'll need to be given lots of time, patience, and tasty treats. But he'll make the perfect adventure buddy given that he's a pretty active boy, and very smart, too! A calm, quiet home with a family willing to let Doc Hudson adjust at his own pace would be the perfect place for him! Because of his history as a stray, it's unknown how he would do with other animals, so there should be slow, proper introductions to other pets in the home. Doc Hudson it waiting for the right people to call his family; will it be you?

Story
Age: 2 yearsWeight: 22.3 kgYou'll never be lonely with Spud around! This friendly, social boy loves to meet new people and soak up all of the attention and pets! He can get a bit rambunctious and jumpy with too much handling though so will need a family that can recognize when he's over-aroused. Spud is a very smart dog and willing to work for tasty treats! Lots of playtime, training, and exercise are important to keep this active boy happy and healthy! It's unknown how Spud would do in a home with other pets as he was found as a stray. But Spud is happiest when he's near his people; a great companion for those that want a dog to be with them through thick and thin. He's waiting to give you all of the kisses, so make an appointment to meet Spud!

Story
Age: 6 monthsWeight: 14.20 kg (31.3 lbs)A little bit about me:- unknown history with children, nervous dog- unknown history with cats and small animals- potential for select other dog in home pending successful dog to dogMeet Daphne, a shy Collie pup seeking a patient and understanding home after a rough start to life. She's timid around new people and places, but transforms into a sweet girl once she feels safe. Daphne has lived with other dogs before, and would do best in a calm environment with older kids who can read her body language. With patience and love (and a whole lot of treats), Daphne will blossom into a loyal and affectionate pup! Daphne may be a work in progress, but the dog that will come out on the other side will be worth all the patience, time and space she needed to get there. Take a chance on this sweet girl today!

Story
Age: 6 monthsWeight: 13.2 kgA bit about me:- nervous under-socialized dog who may be wary of fast/sudden movements and loud noises- unknown history with children; supervision recommended- unknown history with cats; slow, supervised intros recommended- dogs okay pending successful introductionSweet Paia was surrendered to our shelter and is looking for a new home. This beautiful lady has not been socialized well and is very nervous of fast movements and loud noises. She is food motivated, so in a patient, quiet home, we think she will warm up into a lovely friend. Paia has lived with other dogs recently and has shown interest in the activity of other dogs, so a friendly, calm dog buddy might be good for her. Paia will likely do best in home with dog experience and no small children. While Paia might need some extra support at first, the rewards of seeing a shy dog blossom are well worth it.
