Story
Hi! My name is Casper, Are you looking for a dog to get into agility, nose work or any other type of sport? I’m your dude! I’m your typical border collie and get super vocal when the energy levels are high! Typical to my breed I heard other dogs and most likely will not do well with cats. At first, I can be a bit shy, but I warm up quickly. Once I’ve warmed up, I’m a very affectionate and cuddly boy one on one with my human. I was found as a stray in the Yukon but now I'm safe and trying to find a foster home with BARC’s. I’m housetrained, crate trained and walk well on the leash. My recall is semi good, but I will need to build that bond with my human and work on training to make my recall 100%.  ##1701663##

With his stunning looks and outgoing personality, Shylo is sure to steal your heart.Despite his name, Shylo is anything but shy! He is a friendly pup who loves meeting new people and making new furry friends. When it comes to canine companionship, Shylo is a pretty social guy. He enjoys play sessions, especially a good game of chase! Shylo sometimes displays an excitable behavior of mounting other dogs. This behavior can be managed and redirected with proper training.Aside from his excitement around other pups, Shylo is also an eager learner. He will flourish in a home that provides him with mental stimulation and opportunities to exercise his brilliant mind. Daily walks, interactive toys, and puzzle games will keep this clever boy engaged and content.Click "Adopt Me" and open your heart to a lifetime of love, adventure, and tail wags with Shylo by your side!https://youtu.be/tFXwq8lEkBY Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 20.3 Age: 1yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
This is Quinn. An honest and heartfelt description by her foster mom (who absolutely adores her and has come to understand what an amazing dog she is).Quinn is about 1.5 yrs. old and fast as a bullet. She is extremely agile and can beat the ball to the fence line and catch in midair. Quinn has magnificent herding instinct and is highly attuned to her handler. She learns body language and hand signals easily. She is well mannered and knows how to go to her mat for meals and to her own bed at bedtime. Quinn is ok with less energetic dogs or dogs that share her personal values on herding cats (which she is an expert...to a fault). She likes the foster homes cat, drools all over her but has never shown any aggression. She is good in crowds of people but introduce her to new dog friends with care and patience. She LOVES to go wherever you go. She is barky but gets much better as she settles into a home.If you think Quinn would fit into your home and active lifestyle, please fill out an adoption application.

Story
Sasha is house trained, knows her basic commands and is good with most other dogs her energy level. Sasha's energy level can be all over the map some days, from zoomies to long camping chair naps in the sun. Speaking of camping chairs, she'll probably need her own because she is the master at slipping into yours if you aren't paying attention. Sasha walks well on a leash and has good recall. She would do best with an active family who can take her for regular walks and are home most of the time. She does have separation anxiety, so having her family with her most of the time or another dog friend would be helpful for her. She is interested in cats but is easily corrected when she pesters them. In her foster home, she lives with older kids, cats, and dogs (both big and small). Sasha does not need to be kenneled when left alone for short periods of time, but if left for prolonged periods of time, she gets a little anxious. She Loves to be cuddled and adores all the attention she can soak up from her people. Sasha wants to help you by following you everywhere and being included in everything you do. If you're going for a car ride, count her in! She likes to play in the water and will fetch a ball if she's in the mood.If you know dogs, this girl is a good choice for a loving and active family.

Story
Age: 8 months Sex: Neutered male Estimated Breed:  Border collie X Weight:  30 lbs Good with dogs?:  Yes Good with cats?: Yes Good with children?:  No, older children only Special/Medical Needs:  Fear Energy Level:  High   Dash is a young neutered male, smaller border collie X (maybe purebred) who's 19" and approx 30 lbs. He loves his food, treats and toys and has a healthy appetite which is good considering he was quite thin when he was first rescued.   Dash appears shy at first and may take a while to open up to new people. He loves the company of others dogs (hasn't met a dog he didn't like and thinks all dogs should be his friend) and is very good with cats. Having a canine buddy around increases his confidence and helps with his separation anxiety. An ideal home would be a quieter adult only home (or older teenagers) with a canine buddy, someone who has patience and is dog savvy or willing to attend classes. It's likely that Dash was abused at some point in his short life since he is nervous with men, especially men making sudden movements.  Dash does not bark when strangers come to the door, however, will be vocal if left alone without another dog or human. He sleeps overnight in his crate in his foster's bedroom which makes him feel secure.   This boy is mostly house trained but does have the occasional accident. He has learned a few basic command such as come, sit, down, kennel. He walks nicely on a leash once he's comfortable with you. His foster mom will continue working with him until he is adopted.  If not given an outlet to burn off energy and appropriate toys and chews, he will happily make up his own rules which also includes chewing on your prized possessions. Once comfortable with you, he will snuggle under the covers or hang out chilling on the couch.   Working with Dash has been a real joy, watching him flourish and come around from the very timid dog he was when he arrived in Texas. His fosters would love to keep him but having three dogs and three cats means Dash should find a "furever home". ##1249285##

Story
Welcome Mindy everybody! Mindy is a goofy girl who loves belly rubs and treats for being good. She is at best guess a collie X and is approximately 1 year old. Mindy enjoys being the silliest dog out of all her friends and even though she is a little shy of non canine friends her out pouring of love is not missed. She just wants some one to love her as much as she loves everything/everyone else. Mindy would do best in a home where she can get the comfort she needs to be her silly self. She does well with other dogs and kids.
