I’m about 2 years old, fully vetted (yep, no more babies for me!), and my best guess is that I’m a Border Collie/Pit mix. I’m dog friendly, people friendly, smart, and pretty easygoing. I love to please and I pick up on things quickly, so training and bonding with me will be a breeze. What I want most now is a family who will love me just as much as I’ll love them. With time, patience, and kindness, she has begun to shine. She now trusts our UAF volunteers, and every day we see more of the sweet, playful pup she truly is. Jade is naturally timid with humans, but she thrives when she has a confident dog to follow. A canine companion who can show her the ropes would be a wonderful match. Once she feels safe, her playful side takes over—she loves to wrestle with other dogs, and a good game of chase (or being chased!) is her absolute favorite. With the right adopter—someone patient, gentle, and committed to reminding her she will never be abandoned again—Jade’s transformation will be beautiful. Our happy boy Smokey is just such an adorable guy! Hard to say what breed he is as he is a sweet rescuewhich in my opinion that breed is perfect! Our best guess is border collie/Aussie/heeler mix. He's about 8 months old. He is great with other dogs, cats and loves to play. He is crate trained and working on his house training. Smokey is a super smart dog who just wants to please.
