Story
Coby is a mixed smooth coat border collie. He has a strong herding instinct and is in the wrong environment. He tries to "herd" humans which leads to biting heals and ankles. He is very loyal to his owner and has never herded or nipped at me but other family members who approach me. He is very protective. Because of this, he is not a good choice for someone with young children. He needs a job to do and would be great on a ranch with room to run. He has been exposed to a horse and a goat. He has been around other dogs. He is passive typically when introduced to a new dog. Some dogs he does well with once he gets used to them. He would need an introduction first. He is a good watch dog. He is housebroken and doesn't chew furniture, etc. He does well on a leash but will pull if he sees another dog or animal he wants to chase. He is a sweet boy with a lot of energy to burn. He loves to play catch. He is currently in the wrong environment in the city.

Story
Are you looking for a high-energy, affectionate companion who thrives with structure and enjoys being close to home? Meet Dolly, a lively and loving pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Personality & Traits - Dolly is a joyful, energetic girl who loves to stay active and engaged throughout the day. She’s a cheerful chatterbox, expressing herself with grumbles, snorts, yips, and barks. While she has plenty of energy to burn, Dolly is most comfortable in her home environment, where she can play, explore the yard, and then settle in with her people. Training & Behavior - Kennel Trained: Dolly feels safe and relaxed in her kennel, making it her ideal place to unwind. - Basic Commands: She’s eager to learn and enjoys training, though distractions, especially other dogs, can pull her focus. Consistency and positive reinforcement work well for her. - Leash Training: Dolly is still polishing her leash skills and continues to make progress with regular practice. - Watchful Nature: She likes to patrol her space and will alert you to activity around the property, particularly along the fence line. We’re actively working on recall in these moments. Important Home Requirements - No Small Animals or Cats: Due to her strong prey drive, Dolly cannot live with small animals or cats. This is non-negotiable. Quirks & Fun Facts - Paper Products Beware: Dolly finds shredding paper irresistible, so important items should stay out of reach. - Quick Paws: She has a playful habit of grabbing small objects when the opportunity arises. Burying Treats: Dolly enjoys burying her food and treats, showing off her instinctive side. Dog Friendly - Dolly enjoys the company of other dogs but can get overly excited during play and may need reminders to keep things polite. Health & Wellness - Dolly is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She’s healthy and ready to find her forever home. Crowds & Outings - Dolly can become overstimulated in busy or chaotic environments. She does best with planned activity, enrichment, and play at home, rather than frequent trips to crowded public spaces. Ideal Home - Dolly would thrive in an active home with a secure yard where she can run, play, and burn energy daily. She needs both physical exercise and mental stimulation, followed by downtime with her humans. While she’s high energy, she doesn’t need to be taken everywhere to be happy. A family that enjoys structured play, training, and cozy evenings at home would be an excellent fit. With proper introductions and patience, she may do well with older, respectful children. Will you be the one to give Dolly the active, loving home she deserves? She’s ready to bring enthusiasm, loyalty, and plenty of affection into your life.   Estimated date of birth is 9/28/2023 and her adoption fee is $150.March 7, 2026, 12:48 pm

Story
Paddington Bear was born May 12th, 2021. He is lovingly called a chunk and is food motivated. (Especially hotdogs) He is goofy and loves snuggles and bonds especially well with women. He knows basic commands in sign language and by training. He has some fear that can be worked out with an experienced dog lover willing to expose him to new environments and people. Grew up with other dogs, so dog friendly. Would do well as an only dog or with other dogs who are alpha so he can follow. Would recommend a house with minimal children (older preferably as he fears a lot of energy in the house, unless its him). Even with training and love, he has become too fearful of my toddler and we have another baby on the way. He is very loved, but this is in his best interest.

Story
Boo is a wonderful girl, unfortunately we can’t give her the life she needs anymore. Shes a very high energy baby, and with us moving and two babies on the way we won’t be able to provide for her the way she deserves. Shes the sweetest most loving girl, loves to play and cuddle. She does have anxiety with loud noises and kennels, but she adapts really well. Super playful with other dogs and kids, but she does jump quite a bit. We love her to pieces and will only give her to the right people who have the right time, energy, and space for her
