Story
Georgie is a fun-loving active dog who loves to play and run. She’d make an excellent companion for a special someone. Georgie is 4 yeas old spayed, and current on vaccines. She loves people and older kids. Georgie would make an excellent agility prospect, herding dog or nose work dog. She also likes to snuggle on the couch. Due to a move and divorce, Georgie deserves a home with a yard and as an only dog. She doesn’t get along with my older female dog. She is waiting for the best fit. You won’t regret accepting this confident and active dog into your life. Georgie would be best as an only dog as she prefers people.

Story
Georgie is a wonderful companion. She is very active and loves to play. She is good with older children. She is good with some dogs, but not all. Probably best in a one dog household or with a male dog. She is house trained and great inside and outside. She is well trained and just completed a two week board and train. I think she’d be great at agility, as a herding dog or doing nose work. She wants to please and is very smart. She has been in our household all 4 years. I just went through a divorce and moved into a condo. It’s just too small for her and our other older dog. The tight quarters and no yard has made it difficult for the two dogs to get along. It breaks my heart.

Story
Our older male dog recently passed and now Bonnie and our other spayed female that we are also looking to rehome are fighting for pecking order. They’ve already put eachother in the hospital twice and we have a human baby in the home. Both dogs are very well trained, crate, leash and Bonnie is great off leash. Bonnie is 7 but acts like she’s 3, loves attention and playing fetch. She’s incredibly smart and aims to please.

Story
Georgie is a 4 year -old Border Collie mix who is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is confident, playful, and loves to run. Georgie would make a great running or hiking partner. She’d be a good herding dog or nose work dog. She loves to play tug of war and occasionally fetch. Georgie would make a great agility prospect, herding or nose work dog. She gets along with older kids. Georgie doesn’t do well with chickens. When she is not running around she loves to snuggle on the couch. Georgie is house trained and loves to ride in the car. Because of a divorce and move she is too confined without a yard. She isn’t getting along with my other older dog. She’d do better as an only dog as she gets along with some dogs but not others. I’d love to find the perfect fit for her. She really is a loving companion and it breaks my heart to look for a new home for her. Georgie is a sweetheart.

Story
Hi my name is Kodi and I am a border collie mix. My mom adopted me about 3 years ago from the pound. I have been heavily trained since then. I am crate trained, mat/place trained, know a lot of cool tricks (sit, stay, mat, crate, down, spin, touch, roll over, shake, up, down, off, and am learning 'hoop'). My parents recently had a baby and I am having a hard time adjusting. I go to group training lessons almost weekly with other dogs and am usually the star. I am not reactive in the community, as long as I have a treat. I do have some flaws like counter surfing and hopping an unsecured fence, but I am a sweet dog. Despite these few flaws, I am a loving dog. I love cuddles on the couch, treats, going for car rides, going for runs, and being your best friend. My mom is looking for a loving home who has experience with reactive dogs and does NOT have any other animals or children. I will bond to one to two people. Please let my parents know if you are interested in adopting me.

Story
Jake is a very sweet, one-year old cattle dog mix. We adopted him from the Sacramento SPCS when he was a couple months old, but we didn't know his breed. We have two Basset Hounds and a cat. My husband now works out of town and that many animals is too much for me. Jake has different energy needs than my bassets and he chases my cat because he wants to play. He interacts well with people and other dogs. We don't have a yard, so at this point, he is spending 8 hours in a crate during the day. He also sleeps in a crate so that's far too many hours in a crate! He's a fantastic dog and I'm sad that I am rehoming him, but it is what is best for Jake. For the lucky adopter, Jake will come with two crates, a dog bed, bowls, harness, leash, and toys. If you are active or have older kids to play with him, Jake would be a great fit!
