Story
We LOVE Cruise! He's happy, he's youthful, and he's a bundle of energy waiting to explore. Cruise is active, fun, and ready to be your weekend warrior sidekick. We can definitely see this boy traveling trails and hitting the road for adventures if that's your jam. He's also happy to explore what's around him, so if you have some room at home and prefer the country life style, he could also be a great choice. Cruise has made friends with many of the other dogs at the shelter and would likely do well with a canine buddy or two. Cruise is still young and ready to learn. He's eager to meet you and hopes you stop by to say hello soon! Cruise is approximately 10 months old and weighs 35 pounds. All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated according to age, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention before adoption unless otherwise noted for age or health reasons. Story
Georgie is a wonderful companion. She is very active and loves to play. She is good with older children. She is good with some dogs, but not all. She is house trained and knows basic obedience. Currently she doesn’t get along with our older female dog. I’m interested in putting her in a months long board and train before rehoming. At that time the trainer should know more about how she is with other dogs etc.

Story
Our older male dog recently passed and now Bonnie and our other spayed female that we are also looking to rehome are fighting for pecking order. They’ve already put eachother in the hospital twice and we have a human baby in the home. Both dogs are very well trained, crate, leash and Bonnie is great off leash. Bonnie is 7 and loves attention and playing fetch.

Story
Entei is a 5 year old border collie. He’s super sweet and friendly and loves people. He loves snuggles and kisses. My husband newly joined the military and we are being move to Italy where we will be placed in apartment. We won’t have the room for him and we already don’t have much time for him.He needs an experienced owner. He is crate trained and potty trained. He is selective with other dogs so he would do better being an only dog unless you’re up to introducing him slowly and in an experienced manner. He is a wonderful dog. I need to rehome him by the end of the year. I will be taking him to the groomers and updating all shots before rehoming him.

Story
Meet Bear, a 5 year old loving pup looking for a good, loving home. Would be best for for a home without children. He lives with 4 other dogs now, but has grown up with them so not sure how he’d react to a new dog. He is super shy and skittish when you first meet him, but once he warms up he is a super loving dog.

Story
Jake is a very sweet, one-year old cattle dog mix. We adopted him from the Sacramento SPCS when he was a couple months old, but we didn't know his breed. We have two Basset Hounds and a cat. My husband now works out of town and that many animals is too much for me. Jake has different energy needs than my bassets and he chases my cat because he wants to play. At this point, I only see my cat at night. I take Jake to the dog park 2 or 3 times a week and doggy daycare on the days I work late. He interacts well with people and other dogs. We don't have a yard, so at this point, he is spending 8 hours in a crate during the day. He also sleeps in a crate so that's far too many hours in a crate! He's a fantastic dog and I'm sad that I am rehoming him, but it is what is best for Jake and my other pets. For the lucky adopter, Jake will come with two crates, a dog bed, bowls, harness, leash, and toys. If you are active or have older kids to play with him, Jake would be a great fit!
