Story
Meet Kiara!Kiara is a beautiful 10 month old mixed breed girl with a great big heart she wants to share and an even bigger love for adventure! This sweet girl originally came to our shelter last year when she was saved from New Mexico by our pals at Rescued Pets Movement. Kiara was recently returned to the shelter when her previous adopter realized they couldn’t give her the time and activity she needs to truly thrive. Now Miss Kiara is ready to find a home that can keep up with her fun, active spirit!Kiara is an energetic, playful pup who loves to run, explore, and experience the world around her. She would do best in an active household where she can burn off her energy in positive ways—whether that’s hiking, long walks, playing with dog friends, or exploring the outdoors. She absolutely adores everyone she meets, both humans and other dogs, and would likely enjoy having a friendly canine companion to play with! Kiara is a smart girl who is still learning her manners and basic commands, so she’ll do best with someone who is excited to continue her training and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.Like many curious young dogs, especially herding breeds, Kiara has shown an interest in chasing wildlife, so a secure yard or supervised outdoor time will be important for her safety and success in her future home!Kiara is already spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on her vaccinations. She is ready to go home today! If you’re looking for a happy, energetic companion who will join you on all of life’s adventures, Kiara might be the perfect match. Come meet this sweet girl—you just might fall in love!

I have been introduced to a lot of new things at the shelter, like walking on a leash and harness and walking alongside other stranger dogs I don't know. I would like to find a family that will help me practice these skills and learn more. I need lots of love in order to become more confident, but I am excited to go on that journey with someone special! If you think that could be you, come visit me at CARE today!
