Tobi is 4 years old, he loves to play with toys and fetching is his favorite game. He can run run run and keep running. He needs to get exercise. I don’t have the time he needs, he ends up in a kennel most of the time. I love him and he's so smart. I just can’t be what he needs anymore. I want him to be happy and loved. He gets along pretty well with smaller dogs for the most part. Tobi had some trouble getting along with people but he seems fine with strangers now after working on it with him. He has been around cats and does okay but he does like to play and chase, he doesn’t hurt them. He’s a sweet boy, sometimes he will calm down enough to cuddle. But he’s very smart, knows words like wait, sit, high five, shakes with both hands. I just want him to be able to go outside and run to his hearts content.

Zippy is a playful, outgoing sweetheart with a medium-to-high energy level and a serious zest for life! She's a social butterfly who loves other dogs and would absolutely love a home with a yard to zoom around in and furry friends to share her adventures. Whether she's chasing toys, bouncing around the play yard, or making new friends, Zippy brings excitement and happiness wherever she goes! This clever little lady already knows a few basic commands and is both treat and toy motivated, making her a wonderful candidate for continued training and learning new tricks! She's also a good girl on leash and in her kennel, proving there's plenty of sweetness and smarts behind all that adorable silliness. At just 19 pounds, Zippy is a fantastic smaller-sized companion with a big-dog personality! She'd thrive with an active family who enjoys playtime, outdoor adventures, and a little Border Collie enthusiasm in their daily lives. They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by using the link in their approval email. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees are non refundable once a pet is taken home. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up. Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed. ##2878212##

He’s potty trained, crate trained, and walks perfectly on a leash—which means he’s ready for adventure as soon as he’s healed from his hip surgery.
