Story
Ella is an 8month old Border Collie. She is super energetic and social. She is happiest when she is with people and other furry friends. She gets along with everyone. She is young and still exploring the world around her, so she sometimes needs a little reassurance to try new things. Ella is spayed and has her shots. She is house trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She’s getting better at the leash, although she gets excited and sometimes pulls. She loves the outdoors! She’s a cuddle bug and loves to be as close as possible. She is so lovable and happy, Ella is very chatty. She tries to communicate both vocally and with her paws. She will also try to lead you to what she wants. She’s VERY smart.

Story
A dog without a job? In this economy?! Meet Orisa! A smart, friendly, and lovely home companion, Orisa would love to have a job! She's happy to begin the year, helping you to meet your Wellness goals of getting in all your steps, relaxing after work, and getting to bed on time. Fully house- and crate-trained, Orisa would love to remind you that you deserve to take breaks and to bask in sunlight. While she will follow her nose, she's also a loose-leash walker. She has already learned to "wait" at crosswalks, to "sit", and responds easily to a gentle verbal redirection. She can be a bit hesitant when near loud traffic, but that is understandable, since she's only 35lbs! Otherwise, she's adapted well to city life and noises. Beyond that, Orisa would flourish in a fenced-in yard she could keep squirrel-free for you. She'd love an opportunity to play fetch, or to herd things (like unruly toys!).  While Orisa has not been formally tested on cats, there are indicators that she may not do well with them or other small pets. Story
Frank may be a little timid when you first meet him, but with a bit of patience and reassurance, his true personality shines through. Once he gains confidence, he reveals himself to be a very playful and sweet boy who loves to have fun and share affection. Frank would do best in a home with older children who can respect his need for a gentle introduction and help him continue building his confidence. What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended

Story
Nyx is a super smart and lovable pup! Does great on a leash and has quickly gotten the hang of sit and potty training! He is very lovey and will follow you all over the house.  He is super curious with my cats and can be pretty vocal when he wants to play! He would do great in a household that is active, as he LOVES to go on long walks.  He can have a hard time sharing preferred treats, so might be best as the only dog. He also does amazing in his crate overnight, he’ll curl right up to sleep! ##2607238##
