Story
Hi there! I'm Vega! I've been told that I'm a very pretty girl! I have the coloring of a Border Collie and shaped like a pitty! I'm athletic and super willing to join you on all of your outdoor adventures this summer. Where are we going first?! I would love an active family who will give me lots of love and keep me active! I like other dogs just fine, but I will need to meet them prior to taking me home. This also includes any doggy roommates! I will need some time in my new home to decompress from the stressful shelter life before I can be my best self! This would look like a cozy bed inside of a crate or behind a baby gate where I can catch up on my Zzz's. I promise this won't take long until you're able to see my goofy personality shine through! I am SO ready to be your best friend and show you how amazing I am! We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries! Story
*Please read as if she's british* Hello, I'm Quincy, and to start, I'd like to point out that I am a girl. I know I've got a boy's name, but really, it can be for both. I'm a young border collie girl to be precise - one with a rather active mind and natural inclination for adventure. I can be a touch shy when we first meet, but I do warm up rather quickly. Once I'm comfortable, I'm affectionate, engaged, and very keen on being involved in whatever you're doing. I'd love an active home where I can keep both my brain and my little body busy. Cats are not in the cards for me unfortunately as I like to fixate on them. I also ask that if you're thinking about adopting me, there are no young children present, as I can be a bit protective of my food and personal space. We can continue to work on this where I have an environment that is safe and meals are always provided. With the right home, I'll be a wonderfully loyal and ever so clever companion - ready for every adventure, once I've had a proper moment to settle in. We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries! Story
Hi!! Im Roxthough apparently I also answer to Roxy, Ms. Piggy, professional toy collector, and full-time happy girl. I may have previously claimed to be a very refined poodle mix, but recent foster reports suggest I might actually be more border collie and lab than anything! Regardless of what I am, I'm sweetheart with a lot of enthusiasm for life. Im crate trained, potty trained, fantastic on leash, and I already know my name, come, and sit. Im working on wait and drop it, because Im smart and eager to pleaseI just sometimes get excited and my body forgets to stop bouncing. I also talk in adorable little grumbles, groans, and snorts instead of barking, which I think is much more sophisticated. I love toysespecially tennis balls and chew toysand may occasionally attempt to stash my treasures behind furniture for safekeeping. I adore gentle neck and face rubs, zooming around the yard, and then promptly passing out in my crate where I may or may not snore a little. Ive done great meeting other dogs, though I can be a bit enthusiastic and forget that not everyone wants to be greeted like were reuniting after ten years apart. Because Im still learning to keep all four paws on the ground and use my mouth politely when Im excited, Id do best with older kids or dog-savvy ones who understand Im still learning. If youre looking for a joyful, silly, affectionate adventure buddy with a whole lot of personality, I am so ready to be your girl. A note from my fosters: Recently, we discovered that Roxy may not shed very much if at all! We also suspect she may be part boxer along with her terrier and collie heritage. We love our girl! Story
Hello, I`m Wybie. I am a sweet girl and although I may seem shy and uninterested in the shelter, I am just stressed out and scared. Once I open up I am actually quite affectionate and bond closely to my people. I`m looking for someone who`s patient and willing to let me come out of my shell so I can get back to having adventures and cuddles with a family I can call mine!
