Our adoption center & Spay Clinic is open by appointment with approved application. We are located at 571 NE 44th Street, the NW corner of Prospect (44th) and 6th in Oakland Park, FL. Our application is available online: www.animal-aid.com where you can also view all of our adoptable dogs and cats. We have had Barry for almost 7 years now. He has been great all these years! But unfortunately us having a baby complicated things for him. He became anxious and uncomfortable once our baby came along and even more now that he is crawling. He is usually good with other dogs and great with cats. He just gets protective of his food when other dogs are around but not with humans. We just want to give him up to a shelter, we are looking to privately rehome him. Our vet recommended medicating him for anxiety but unfortunately its not enough anymore for him. He deserves to be in a kid free home where he can feel as comfortable as possible.
