He is a very vocal dog and we are looking to rehome because our daughter has severe migraines and is unable to tolerate his barking. We have tried trainers but because we are such a busy family, we cannot provide the proper training and attention he needs for his barking,

Our adoption center & Spay Clinic is open by appointment with approved application. We are located at 571 NE 44th Street, the NW corner of Prospect (44th) and 6th in Oakland Park, FL. Our application is available online: www.animal-aid.com where you can also view all of our adoptable dogs and cats. The $200 donation we are requesting will help the next dog or cat in need and includes our medical program; 5-way vaccines, rabies vaccine, de-worming, blood test for heartworm and tick diseases, spay or neuter and microchip ID. April 23, 2026, 5:47 pm

Story
Pumpkin (mini aussie) is the sweetest, cuddliest, velcro dog someone could ever ask for. She is the best companion to have for someone who works from home or is retired. She does ok with other dog cats but really is more of a human dog. She gets along with smaller or older female dogs the best. Shes OK with kids as long as they dont overstimulate her. She does get reactive to new men and will nip their heels, She never had an issue with my husband or brothers but shes very protective with female family members. She loves food and snacks but she loves walks in the park or quiet areas and is good at the beach. She loves going out for adventure but is anxious in the car. She is very calm for her breed. She is OK off leash (except if she sees a guy) but she will stay close, she wont run off. She loves to sunbathe & can sit outside for hours. She hates thunderstorms and loud noises but loves to snuggle.
